Description of Work: Found crack in toilet tank, acquired new toilet, installed it

Description of Work: Had a leaky toilet at a rental house I own. Called Backlund and they were available the next day. Called when they were on their way so it was easy for the tenant. They were so easy to work with I called them back to put in a new toilet.

Description of Work: Cleaned basement drain and checked flow to street sewer.

Description of Work: The service tech arrived without the right equipment after explicit conversation regarding main drain. The service tech had to leave for an hour and a half to get a plastic tube. The service tech then proceeded to put the auger in neutral at every opportunity. Drain was not opened until the following day and it took about 15 seconds. This service tech did everything possible to prolong his visit to clear a simple main drain clog!!!! I have lived many years in my house and have had the main drain cleared every 5 years or so do to tree roots. I have no doubt he doesn't work for them now. On a previous call a year or so prior their tech went above and beyond clearing an inside drain. With polar opposites of techs I would not use this company the main drain experience was too painful.

Description of Work: The plumber first removed a clog in our kitchen drain pipe. In the process of doing so, he told us that one of the likely culprits that caused the clog was egg shells and that it's a good idea not to put them down the disposal because they frequently don't get ground up thoroughly. The second thing he did was install a new kitchen faucet. We really appreciated the fact that Backlund was able to send the plumber out the same morning that we called. He was very professional and honest. When he had to go to the hardware store for parts, he took himself off the clock and then put himself back on the clock when he came back to the house. When he had finished the work, he showed us that the garbage disposal looks very old and had a crack that could soon cause a leak. He was right. That happened about two weeks later. As soon as we get a new disposal, we'll be calling Backlund to install it.

Description of Work: They are honest people. They did "only" the work needed. They explained why problems other people said i needed done didn't need to be done. They gave me an estimate and left it with me.

Description of Work: We had Backlund replace our hot water heaters and add a pressure expansion tank. We checked with a number of other local plumbers and Backlund had both the best pricing a a number of personal recommendations. Very happy with the result.

Description of Work: Replaced a part under the sink and tightened a nut on water shut off valve. I called this company based off of reviews and not disappointed. George was early for the appointment and very respectful of my house. He took off his boots when he came in and cleaned up after himself. We are selling our house and had to get a few minor things fixed after the home inspection. Work was done quick, right, and reasonably priced. I will use Backlund again to fix a few items on my new house.

Description of Work: Moved a vanity water supply and drain about 2 feet around a corner and removed a toilet in an older home. Professional and flexible for a do-it-yourselfer in an older home. They have been our go-to plumber for 20 years. As always it was quality work.

Description of Work: Drain cleaning for bathtub. Not quite as easy as it looked at first. Serviceman just kept at it until he got it done. Another time I thought I had a leak in my basement and called for emergency service on Friday afternoon around 3:30p.m. They came by 6:30p.m. and looked the situation over. Serviceman was extremely helpful, told me it wasn't a plumbing problem, showed me how I had a foundation problem and gave me suggestions about what to do. I've had Backlund numerous times for all kinds of plumbing situations...drain cleaning, replace fixtures, fix toilets, even tear out a wall and replace old pipes (I live in a 100-year old house). They've been great on every job and fair in pricing.
