The plumber was professional, knowledgeable and exceeded expectations. He even did a quick overview of my furnace and my water pipes and recommended a water pressure reducing solution. The only minor downside unrelated to the service performed is that he called the office to see if they would accept my Aingie's list discount and they wanted an actual printed coupon and did not give me the discount. Who prints paper coupons in the age of phone apps?

I was able to get an appointment for the next day, which was very much appreciated. Plumber arrived early and was very friendly and professional. Took under an hour to repair the water heater.

These guys were exactly on time, very professional, fast, and reasonably priced. They unclogged a drain and a toilet for me (which involved removing and then reattaching the toilet) in about 40 minutes.

We have used Backlund Plumbing for water heater and drain issues before. Those were all good experiences so we felt comfortable calling them again. The plumber was friendly and was quick about replacing the faucet. He removed the old faucet and did a very good job cleaning the sink.

Eric was here on time and courteous. Introduced himself and got right to work. Cleared the problem and gave helpful tips. Reasonably priced. Have used this plumber in the past with equally good results.

This was great. I work about 15 minutes from my home. Backlund Plumbing called about 30 minutes before the plumber was to get to my house. I left works - and he actually beat me home. I showed him the issue. He (Mike) found the problem - went out to his truck, got what he needed - cut out the bad pipe and put in new. He was in and out in 1 hour. This worked out perfectly. When needed again, I will definitely call Backlund to do work in my home and I will recommend them to anyone I know that is looking for a plumber. Thank you.

We called them in the morning and they came the next morning at the time they said. They were very professional, had a great price, did great work and cleaned up great. It was great working with them and I will have them come again!

I called at about 930 in the morning in reference to a water heater pilot light that I could not get going. I was told they will fit me In that day they just didn't know when. At 330 I got a call saying a plumber was on his way. The plumber got my water heater going within about 30 minutes! I asked him if he could look at my sink and he said "no problem". Took him about another 30 minutes to tear apart and rebuild my faucet (which now works like new!) I was charged an hour of labor ($90) and $15 in parts

Rick D. was scheduled for between 10:00 and 12:00 but finished another job early, so called and came at 8:30 which was much better for my schedule. He removed the old toilet, installed the new one, and cleaned up after himself, all in about an hour and a half. He was courteous, professional, and efficient. I was very pleased with both the price and the service. I would definitely use this company again.

How can Angies list recommend someone like that? It says that the eastimates are free in your page.... This is ridiculous..

They are quite good. They knew what they were doing. They are professional and friendly. They are a local company and locally known. They went to the same high school I did.

Plumber was prompt, courteous,professional and a nice guy. The work was completed in a timely manner and he cleaned up after himself. Can't ask more from a plumber. Highly recommended.

My initial appointment was a week out, but I was OK with that for my jobs were not an emergency. They did call before they came and kept the appointment promptly. Repairman was very friendly and knew what he was doing. I did have to have them come again the following day, for the bathroom faucet leaked around the parimeter when I was cleaning up after he left. However, he was out quickly the next day and didn't hesitate to take care of the issue. Will plan on using them again. Cost was very reasonable. I felt confident in his work and his ability to take care of the issue.

Everything was five, but they were not available soon enough.

Called on a Sunday and they were out in a few hours to clean it out..did a great job!

They are always professional, punctual and reliable. However, the bid was about $160 more than the other bid we got and where they were going to put the pipes just did not make it easy for our sprinkler guy. We went with the other guy and have lived to regret it. Wish we had paid more and worked out the piping issue!

The ball valve for the sprinkler system shutoff was dripping water in my basement. I called and they were able to get me in the next day. When the plumber came, I joked that I was going to pay $100 for a 20 cent washer. He took one look and said I did not even need the washer. He popped the handle off the ball valve and then tightened the stem below it. It took all of 5 minutes. We talked about plumbing for ten minutes while we waited to see if it dripped. It did not. Very nice man and very knowledgeable. In the end, he told me he he would only charge me for half an hour of his time. Thus, $45 and no additional service charge. I am more than happy to pay that . I have been burned a few times by other plumbers and my guess is it would have been $120 by a competitor. I have now found my new plumbing company!

This is the second time I called Backlund Plumbing. The first time they snaked the pipes due to a kitchen sink backup. For the second service call, I wanted them to look at my 50 gallon hot water heater because it wasn't generating enough hot water to last for a 10 minute shower or to run a full bath. Eric vacuumed the bottom of my exisiting Whirlpool 50 gallon tank and determined it was likely a faulty burner because the flame was burning yellow instead of blue. In order to fix it, I would have had to call the Whirlpool 800 number to get the part sent to me and have Backlund come back for another $90 service call to install it. This wouldn't guarantee that it would fix my hot water problem, so I decided to go with a new hot water heater install using the 5% Angie's List coupon. Eric was professional and knowledgable and didn't try to push or sell me to go with the new install. I made the decision on my own so I will have the peace of mind of a proper install and that I can call a reputable company to have it serviced in the future using parts they carry locally. I would recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing service. As a side note, I attempted to fix my own toilet that was continually running in the downstairs bathroom. I was successful in every aspect except tightening the nut/gasket well enough. When Erik showed up to assess my water heater issue, he tightened the nut/gasket for me with one of his tools. I reinstalled the tank while he worked on the hot water heater and he inspected my work to ensure it worked properly. In addition, Eric taught me some more things about the toilet mechanisms so I would know what to do in the future if I had other toilet issues. I was really appreciative of his guidance and felt empowered by fixing my own toilet.

Our home is the Ninety-Nine-Ninety-Nine format with the kitchen & bath sinks back-to-back Backlund Plumbing came in and cleared the drainage so both sinks functioned properly. Their tag team approach is greatly appreciated.

I chose Backlund because of Angie's List. They were everything their reviews said. I had a small leak under my kitchen sink, a toilet that ran all the time and an outside faucet that leaked. They took care of everything in under the minimum hour, were prompt, polite and efficient. They are my plumbers of choice! This is the second time I've used them and I don't feel I need to consider using anyone else. They are terrific.

Cost was about what I estimated prior to arrival. The gentleman who came to my house was very friendly, I would say that probably cost me a bit, because he stops working when he talks, and you pay by the hour. But he did get the job done, and worked fast when he wasn't talking. Also they held the check for a long time over the holidays and this made me nervous, but after contacting them, the check was cashed. Also arrived much later than expected, due to another job running long. Working in a service field myself, I understand that this happens... of course we give a discount if we are running behind, that would have been nice.

Had water backup in toilet in basement and tub on main floor on Friday night. Sat morning I called Backlund for Monday appt. I didn't want to pay weekend rate. Alfredo was there at 8:05 am. I explained the situation. He drained the toilet and removed. With the super sized snake he ran down the drain, it was no time before he hit a snag. Apparently he had an idea what the problem was from the start with the smell. After some effort he finally pulled up a squirrel. I was shocked and he said this was actually quite common this time of year. They try to keep warm by the stack on the roof and climb in or fall in and get stuck. He did an excellent job overall. Cleaned up what little mess there was because he had prepared the area so well, put the toilet back in place and was on his way. He was very pleasant and explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. Told me what to look for in the way of any further problems. I would definitely call again if I have plumbing needs.
