This has to be the worst business in Omaha. These crooks refused to replace the motherboard and are charging me anyway. Do not use this place

This has got to be the worst company. First of all, expect to be condescended by these “professionals”. I’ve read other comments of people having the same problem so just beware of this happening in your own home. Secondly, expect them to stand up for their employees over their customers even if the employee is in the wrong. My experience with them seems more like I was robbed of money than anything else. The tech came to my house, requested to use my dining room chair to stand on so he could assess my hood vent even though he had a stepping stool in his car because he wanted to “save time” (is what the manager said when I called). He told me he couldn’t fix my hood vent (apparently they can only fix so far up because otherwise it requires more schooling, again per manager statements) so he left my hood vent completely apart with the hole in my ceiling exposed because he wanted to “make it easier for the next guy” (also statement from the manager), the technician also turned on my vent and insulation flew everywhere over my stove and floor and he just said “oh, yup” and left it. When he was done he came into my living room and told me “you ready so I can show you the problem” in the most angry, condescending tone. When I spoke to the manager about all of this she told me there’s a service fee of $109 (it was $116 after tax and she kept reiterating to me that it’s only $109 even though my reciept says it’s nearly $120 to just have someone come and “diagnose” a problem, according to them). They refused to refund me even though I told them I didn’t want anyone out here if they couldn’t fix the problem. I was originally told it needed a new motor or something had fallen. I told the appointment guy that if it can’t be fixed I’d rather have no one come out. Example being if they think it needs a new motor then I told them I was going to just buy a new vent. I asked to speak to the owner and the manager told me he was standing right behind her the whole conversation and while I was on the phone with them I could hear them snickering at each other over the phone. This was so unprofessional and we’ve remodeled our entire house so I have dealt with multiple companies and this is beyond disrespectful. The condescending attitude of everyone at this company is enough to make me never refer them to anyone, but to not make things fair with a customer for having such bad service is another thing. Good luck to anyone dealing with them, I hope you read the reviews beforehand.

Repairman spent a fair amount of time checking different parts and found a lot wrong. He said it would not be worth it to repair. I appreciate his honesty and courtesy. I was charged a service call, of course, but I'm glad he didn't repair the knob part knowing so much else was wrong.

Would highly recommend Andy's for repair and service. Very professional and friendly.

He estimated the costs to repair and then recommended simply buying a new dishwasher. We appreciated his candor.

I was in the dark about the parts ordered and the work done. They did get the washing machine up and running but it took awhile to receive the parts.

They were great! The bill ended up being less than the original quote. They were prompt, kept me informed of when they were going to arrive. The actual replacement didn't take long at all. What a relief!

He figured out what was wrong right away, and fixed it on the spot. Whole thing was done in about an hour.

Andy's Appliance was great to work with - from scheduling to the initial call to the follow up after parts were ordered.

They showed up for a few minutes to determine the cause as needing a new igniter. We were okay paying the upfront charge since our thought was to fix the stove and it was going to roll into the overall cost. We decided to go with an outright new purchase and therefore felt we should get the upfront fee waived (even if we knew about it) given our previous business AND future business to come. We called and politely asked to waive this fee and were treated as if we didn't understand the upfront fee. That is fine, we did - we simple wanted some flexibility in that policy to keep us a customer. You can keep your ~$80 upfront fee, but will lose what will amount to hundreds of dollars of future revenue as well as ANY referrals coming from us. Good business practices would include flexibility.

It was fine. They were pretty punctual. I might look elsewhere for a different price in the future, but I possibly may use them. They were responsive and able to help me so that was good. Their price seems a little high, but I guess that is the price of what I needed.

The dryer had been smelling like something was burning. I had another provider out the day before to clean the air ducts and dryer vent. Zach opened up the dryer and found a lot of lint build up leading to the dryer blower fan. Zach inspected the dryer and cleaned vacuumed out the inside of the dryer. With the combination of the dryer vent being cleaned and the work Zach performed the dryer is working like new. Zach also checked out my dishwasher that I had serviced by another provider in November. There was a problem with the automatic detergent dispenser not working. Zach cleaned out the unit and then ran some water and vinegar through it and then suggested an excellent alternative detergent that would work better. The dishwasher is now getting the dishes clean again.

Even though their Angie's List service area lists Mills County (and Glenwood is on the northwest side of the county), they said that they don't serve our area. Suggest they modify their information.

He completed a overall examination of our stove, and explained what would be required to fix it. I appreciated the fact that he said the decision was up to us, but gave us a running total of the cost of repair. He did not pressure us in any way. So...time to buy a new stove! I hate spending money to get nothing, but on the other hand, it's good to know that it's not worth it to nickle and dime the repairs only to have it go out on us anyway.

I called the company and was able to get an exact price for the service call, there was a discount on the second appliance as we were having them both looked at the same time. The receptionist was very friendly and was able to schedule an appointment in a timely manner. When they came for the service call, we found out that the dishwasher just had a programming error--something we had done wrong and didn't know how to correct. The technician explained the issue and also checked all the other functions to make sure nothing else was wrong. He was obviously correct, because it has been working fine ever since they came out. The second appliance, our stove needed a new ignitor. The part would have to be ordered and they would need to come back. They let us know the exact cost-minus the service call. We decided to have the stove fixed and called the company back to order the part. They called us about two days later to schedule as the part had arrived. A few days later the same technician-Arnie was our to repair the stove. The repair job did not take to long and he cleaned up everything when he was done. The technician that did our service was knowledgable, professional and arrived on time. We were very happy with the service we received and would use this company again.

They did a great job. The gentlemans attitude was very refreshing. He seemed to really like his job. He was very professional and communicated with me the whole time he was fixing the dishwasher.

Very responsive. Technician came out and determined what the issue was with our ice maker dispenser. It needed a new dispenser kit installed because a tab had broken off leaving the door non-functional. Kit wasn't stocked so they had to order it. Came back out a little less than a week later and repaired it by installing the dispenser kit. Works just like new and while the kit was pricey, the manufacturer didn't supply just the parts needed. Kit was much cheaper than replacing refrigerator. Technician cleaned up and left the kitchen just as he found it. Would definitely use them again.

I thought he was great! He arrived at our house a half hour after i called him. Super nice guy! Very nice and personable, fast, very fair, I thought his bill was fair, not overcharged. Would highly recommend him!

I called them based on previous reviews on Angie's List. They were very prompt in making the initial appointment and when they came out they explained that the Service Call would be $80.00. If I used them for the repair then the $80.00 would be included in the overall repair cost. They did a good job of troubleshooting the cause of the problem and determined that it was due to a bad circuit card. They ordered the part and we went ahead and setup the date for the installation. They came out and installed the part and the problem was resolved. Overall, I was very pleased with their service. They took the time to clean up when they were done. As it was mentioned in other reviews, I did feel that their price was a little high for the amount of time that it took to fix the problem. I would use them again in the future.

Andy's was professional and on time. My appliances are Whirlpool, a brand that they are not accustomed to.
