They painted our house, replaced siding and wood that were in poor shape, caulked nail holes and other spots. They were on time, worked hard when they were here, acted professionally. The owner of the paint company came by 3-4 times daily while the crew was working. The owner of the paint company explained exactly what they were going to do and why. When the process was done, he showed the finished project.

Dan did a great job laying out the job and going through everything that they would do. He and his crew were very professional and the quality of the work was fabulous. We would definitely hire them again!

They did an awesome job, kept us update on progress and timeline, were very good at cleaning up daily and workers were friendly and professional. Anytime we had a question about anything we would call Dan and he would get right back to us with an answer. Would hire again in a heartbeat!

The owner Dan was very professional and thorough. He went over everything with us in great detail that his crew would be doing before starting the job. He has an eye for detail and was very helpful offering suggestions for paint color and what would look nice. His paint crew spent time replacing rotted wood, siding pieces and fascia first. Other companies never offered or even suggested to repair parts of our house before painting. Aabex did an extremely thorough job and they went above and beyond what we expected. We are so happy with the way everything turned out. We highly recommend Aabex.

Dan and his crew did a fantastic job on our house. Not only painted but did the repairs as well. Dan not only listened to what we wanted, but also gave us his opinion which turned it even better. Very prompt and professional! The owner is top notch and is true to his word. These traits are very hard to find in a contractor.

Dan and his crew did an excellent job. They were professional, courteous, and on time everyday. Work was done to highest standards and corrected on the spot if it was not perfect. We will be bringing them back in the spring to do additional work.

Aabex did a great job. We were very pleased with the results. They re-painted the exterior of our two story house with a walk-out basement and also performed some carpentry maintenance prior to paining. They replaced items we identified ahead of time as needing fixed and then also identified some additional items during their work they also replaced. In addition to some siding and trim pieces, they replaced several of our wooden, rotten windowsills, which prevented us from having to replace the windows. They did a great job on both the carpentry work and the painting. The scheduling process was a bit unstructured, but once we started, the crew showed up early every day and worked late. The crew was friendly, worked hard and cleaned up the site well after each day and at the end of the project. Aabex was higher than the other bids we received, but those bids did not include carpentry work. We believe the price was fair based on the quality of the work that was performed.

Everything was done very professionally and exceeded our expectations. Dan and his work crew were friendly, punctual and only satisfied when the work was done to our satisfaction. Dan was very knowledgeable and made suggestions that actually saved us some money, and enhanced the finished projects.

It went very well. Dan was a huge help from start to finish guys were punctual, job site was left clean. Everything exceeded my expectations Turned our home from an eyesore, to the nicest on the block!

Dan and his crew showed up on time on a Tuesday and completed everything by that Saturday afternoon. Both Dan and his employees were excellent, always on task and very polite. All of the work done was of the highest quality. We will hire Dan to do future projects!

Dan showed up on time and walked around the house and give us a estimated cost right there. They came out and did the job in a professional manner and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. This was essentially a complete redo of both the interior and exterior of the house. Dan made recommendations on paint colors and he was spot on. When they were completed, the difference in the house was like night and day. Really it was a new house. Next time I have any work like this to be done, he will be first person I will call.

Dan came out and we walked around the house to get an idea of the work that needs to be done. His bid was reasonable and complete. We are going to hold off on getting the work done but when we are ready we will call Aabex.

Nothing ever happened. It shouldn't be hard to follow up. We shouldn't have to pester a contractor to work for us.

Overall a great job. He does a lot of little extras around the house as part of the service. He is a bit blustery about his business, and probably rightfully so. Very responsive to questions. He will also give advice on keeping the house looking nice, and not just to drum up more business.

They explained what they were going to do, the timeline and answered all of my questions. They showed up on time and made sure they cleaned everything up when they were do. I would have them do work again.

Workers showed up on time and went right to work. They completed the gates first and they looked brand new . Then they tackled the deck. The bid was to jack up one post and level the deck. They had to jack up two posts to achieve the goal of making the deck level. Dan Fliam, the owner, said there would be no additional charge since he had already set his bid at $500. The additional amount would have been $150, but he would not accept anymore than his bid. I will use his company again in the future and will tell all my friends and neighbors what a true pro Dan Fliam is!!!

Promply responded to my request for an estimate, showed up when he said he would and performed services per his proposal. Part of the work was storm damage and Dan provided me with the necessary information to ensure I received adequate payment from my insurance company to cover the actual cost of repairs. In addition, Dan was on site to oversee the work his crew performed and did a final walk around to make sure I was satisfied with the results. I would not hesitate to hire them in the future.

They were honest in their evaluation of the problem and made sure I was satisfied with the work performed prior to their leaving. Well done.

Short version: Excellent work and would use him again. Long version: If a person will tolerate what might appear to be a complete disregard for organization, losing information, etc, and can stick with it even after you are wondering if giving him the deposit might have been a bad idea, you will not be disappointed. My wife and I were hoping that his work would make up for the initial lack of professionalism and it did. ...And then some! He and his crew went above and beyond what we expected. His crew was polite and worked hard. He had them paying attention to every little detail whether it was repairing some siding, gutter or fascia, caulking every little hole/seam or the painting itself. I'm guessing his guys are detail oriented anyway. Honestly, look for a 'greenish' house on N. 127th street between Ogden and Ellison streets, east side and when you see a great looking house (that was previously half-rotted around the fascia and crappy gutters with dark and ugly paint along with some damaged siding) that was made great looking, that's us! Thank you Dan.

Dan Fliam and Aabex are the real deal. Dan is extremely professional and quality conscious. His ability to repair window sashes saved a fortune over replacing the windows. His price for window repair was extremely fair and lower than any other proposal I had. Carpentry work very precise. For the painting, price was competitive with other bids. The difference is the quality and attention to detail. Scraping, priming all done thorough before two coats of paint. Experienced crew and Dan personally inspects job andmakes sure quality is to his standards. He's very busy but worth any wait. I plan to have him back next year for interior painting work.

The owner is fairly assertive, but his follow through is very good. He is good on his word, he does what he says he does. He crew does great work. He claims they are craftsmen and they are. They clean up after themselves and never left a mess in the yard. He led us to a color theme, but we made the decision with the choices and are good with the theme and are pleased with the end result. The before and after went from an old looking house to something looking new. They installed new fixtures for us. What they saved us in fixing the doors alone paid for the full job. I'd recommend him and hire him in a minute. Others would not call us back. He came over same day after we called his flyer.
