Description of Work: We spoke to an exterminator from Orkin in Norfolk. He was very kind and informative. We arranged with him to come and spray our carpenter ants. He advised it is much easier to see the insects point of entry into our home in the spring and will come then to do the work for us. We were very satisfied with the service we received in information and the agreement to come to our home in O'Neill to do the job for us. After the great treatment on the phone we agreed at 300.00 for this service after the service is completed. We are happy with this service information. Thanks to Angies List!!!

Description of Work: Called Orkin regarding infestation of gnats. They suggested doing a bleach treatment in the infected areas, explaining what to do and suggesting I call back if it didn't work. Kind of refreshing that they just didn't set an appointment right away. Now we'll see if their treatment suggestion works.

 + -1 moreWell he came out last fall and explained the whole process($180 just to come out). He was supposed to start right when it got warm. He took his sweet time coming out finally got here May 6th. He did the bat exclusion, which consisted of sealing up the places where bats could get in. This cost me $800. He did a very sloppy job of applying the caulking, he used white caulk when he should have used clear. He said he could not seal up the eave caps because that was considered "construction" he did not inform me of this on his initial visit. He got done with his exclusion, and told me it would be 2 weeks and he would come back and finish the job. One month went by(mind you we were waiting to move into this house) he showed up at 8 am and I do not know what he did for 1 1/2 hrs but he supposedly fell and broke his hand at 9:30. He called me at 3pm and told me of this, and said I will have someone call you tomorrow. Well 1 week went by before I got a call. In the meantime I got sick of waiting, and called Bat Experts. They came out the next day and got the job done right away for $600 less.
Description of Work: He did a bat exclusion and was supposed to clean up all of the droppings and the old insulation.

Description of Work: General exterminating inside the house and a few feet outside the house. He said he had serviced the house for the house and they had a bat problem. He had taken precautions to eliminate that.
