We dropped them because on a pretty regular basis after a while you would have no internet service. Being the person I am, I would troubleshoot it thinking it was on my end. After an exhaustive hour to hour and a half I'd call Connecting Point and I would be told service was down for a period of time. Give it time and eventually it would be back up. Yet still, it took me quite a while to learn this. A good ISP would let their customers know service would be down. Not Connecting Point. By the time I cancelled our service was down 3-4 times a week for hours on end. It simply grew old having to call them day in and day out. What do you pay for if you aren't going to have service?
Description of Work: Connecting Point provides internet service. Also basic, very basic website service.

So of the help is great and does the job right. We kept getting the one that took twice as long, and it was still wrong, and someone else had to come and fix his problem. I feel like I was paying 3 hours for something that should have taken just one hour.
Description of Work: We see them at the coffee shop in the morning instead of at work during their working hours. As a business, the computers are very important. We called to get the password on our mainframe, and it took them 3 days to respond.

They were great at working with me, because I had moved and they were just installing a wireless tower in my area. I did have to wait a month or so for them to get it up and running, but they were good at keeping me posted with the situation. They came out as soon as my area had coverage and get my internet up and running. I have not really had any problems with my connection, only once-in-a-while when it is really stormy, but no big deal. I pay about $35/month. I do think that it is a little high priced, but what isn't these days!
Description of Work: They provide my monthly wireless internet service.
