I was so impressed. He was less than half price of other people I've had. His work was absolutely awesome. I've never had such a good experience working with people. They were so good that I asked if they could come back and do my laundry room and garage. He is so accommodating. I had people moving in and he asked which rooms were the most important. He said he would see if he could squeeze them in and he actually squeezed in everything. They did two coats on everything. They took every outlet off and did those with something that doesn't chip. The head guy is Jeff Walter. He sends in a crew that was so perfectly neat. They were very professional. I have already spread his name around to a lot of people.

Got an estimate in May. Painter said they would paint in July. The weather affected their out door work so the job was postpond until August then September then October when I became concerned if it would be painted before winter. I had put 1/3 of the cost of the contract down. We had had many days when the temperature was over 100 and he would not start because the latex paint would dry to quickly. However he did promise that the job would be done before cold weather. He started in late October or early November by taking down the shutters and taking them to his shop to be painted so as not to be affected by weather conditions. Next he had his full crew of 8 people on this job scraping and priming. They worked every day starting when the weather for the day was correct for painting and until night when is would be getting to cool for good drying. One night they set up flood lights to work late because the siding on the garage was warm knowing that the sun would not warm the siding until very late the next morning. They used the best Sherwin Williams house paint. Left their equitmant orderly at the end of each day. Removed all the scraped paint that had fallen on canvases the had spread on the ground. The last day they hand vaccumed the work area and replaced the newly painted shutters. We were very satisfied.

No complaints. We needed additional repairs before the actual painting could be done and Jeff set all that up for us. It was very easy and they were so professional! Super happy!

The price was quite high, but the quality was very good. The project took much longer than it was estimated - 6 weeks, even though there were at least several people working simultaneously. They worked one day and disappeared for a week or two. It took several calls, for Jeff to get back to me. He promised they would come the following day and they did not. There always was an excuse, of course. At the time when Jeff initially came to give an estimate, he agreed to do some minor wood repairs. They did some, but never finished. I have been calling Jeff every month since May and every time got a promise that the work would be completed. The last time it was at the beginning of December. I told him that I was planning to write a review on Angie's list and this is what I am doing. My advice to future customers of Jeff Walters is: don't make the final payment unless he delivers the service to the last tiny thing. Otherwise you will never see it happen. Sad!

They NEVER got back to me with my estimate. They were going to email it to me but I never heard anything back from them. Not happy about that.

He came to give us a bid for exterior painting of our house and detached storage shed. He was polite on the phone, and arrived in a timely fashion. However, he didn't measure anything, and gave us a bid that was clearly inflated by the quality of the neighborhood. We ended up going with another company that bid nearly half of Mr. Walters's bid, and they did very high quality work, so it worked out well for us.

He did an excellent job. I used him for an outside project, and he did a great job. His price was less than the other people, and I will be using him again for some work on my house.

I called Walter's based on the positive reviews I saw on Angie's list. The owner came out himself and was very nice and knowledgeable and took several pictures. I was looking to have a lot of interior work done and it was more complex than most jobs. I didn't hear back from him for about 10 days when he sent me an email saying he was going to a conference about painting and hadn't forgotten about me (2/17). Well several weeks later he HAS forgotten about me. I never even got a quote. Luckily I have found someone else to do the work weeks ago- I just feel bad that I can't give a positive recommendation like most on Angie's list have, because he is a nice guy just didn't follow through.

Called for an estimate, 2or 3 painters came for 21/2 days and worked steadily to complete the job.Jim came by to double check the work and fix anything that he saw that was not up to his standards.

I called Jeff Walters and he came up the same day for and estimate which was reasonable. They completed the work a week or so later. Two painters arrived on-time, were very professional and completed the work as agreed with high quality results. We're very pleased, wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, and will use them for any future painting projects.

I called Walter's Painting for an estimate on interior painting for my kitchen, living room, dining room, and hall. The kitchen was in immediate need of paint and repair because I had just removed wallpaper and wainscoating. Jeff Walters responded immediately and he worked me into his schedule within the following week to get the kitchen done. He and his crew (Johnny & Dirk) were extremely professional and prompt. I was very satisfied with the results. The torn drywall from the removal of the wainscoating was prepped beautifully and the dark green glossy paint that had to be painted was covered well. Care was taken to be sure there was perfect coverage. The torn drywall was prepped the day prior and the painting was completed in one day. Clean up was perfect. I would definitely recommend Walter's painting and I have set a date at the end of the month to complete the living room, dining room, and hall.

Immediately after my initial phone call (within an hour or two), Mr. Walters came to my house to give me an estimate. The crew began the job right away (within a day or two). Remember that this was December (shortly before Christmas) and the weather was terrible. There were always several painters present. The job took several days. They left my house in excellent condition and I was very pleased with almost everything. For some odd reason, they painted around one electrical outlet, instead of removing it. I think that happened with just one outlet. Very odd. And I was not particularly pleased with the job that they did in the stairwell. It was the last piece that they painted and I think it was rushed. Other than that, these people were wonderful. They were all polite and very professional. They did an excellent job in a reasonable amount of time at a very busy time of the year. I was very, very pleased with their services.

We called Jeff Walter in April and he came out to give us an estimate for a paint job the very same day we called (within an hour actually). We were impressed that he came out so soon, especially since we had a relatively small-scale "job" that needed done. Jeff was very friendly and personable. He immediately gave us a quote of $900 to paint the garage exterior and $1500 to paint the house. He followed up our in-person meeting with an e-mailed proposal/price quote. He listed everything we discussed in the proposal and didn't leave anything out. We called and let him know that we wanted Jeff Walters to do our exterior garage paint only for now. We paid 1/3 of the fee up front to cover materials purchased. He let us know that he did have a few other jobs and that it would be a couple of weeks before our garage got started. We waited for 4 weeks and did not hear anything from Jeff. We called him and he stated that he still had quite a few jobs before ours and because of all the rain we had gotten they were behind schedule. I would have appreciated a proactive call from Jeff to let us know this instead of waiting for us to call him. We waited another 4 weeks and had to call Jeff again. He said that we were definitely "on the board" now and that it wouldn't be much longer. Again, I would have liked to be kept apprised of the situation and maybe gotten a call or even an e-mail with possible time-frame of when they would get to us. About 2 weeks later, Jeff called and let us know that some of his employees were finishing a job and that they would be over in the afternoon to scrape and prime our garage. True to his word, the employees were here that afternoon. They scraped, caulked and sprayed primer on the garage. They were a professional/pleasant team and they worked well together, even in the 100+ degree weather that day. During the next week, an employee came out to remove our rotten fascia on one side of the garage roof and some rotten wood patches. He was pleasant and professional. He battled some wasps and kept working. He appeared to enjoy his job and working for Jeff Walters. The replaced woodwork stood out a bit and did not mesh with the old wood completely, but it did do the job we needed it to. Since this is a painting company, I did not rate their work off for this and I was satisfied with how it turned out. About a week later, they came out to finish the job. The workers painted the new wood and the garage doors. It looked like a brand new job when they were finished and I was happy with the work. Again, the employees were professional and worked well together as a team. When they were finished, we paid Jeff the remainder of the fee. Overall, we were impressed by the workers professionalism and workmanship. They did a great job. The majority of our problems began with all the rain we had and not being updated on the time frame of when our job would get started. We would definitely hire Jeff Walters again for painting and will have them back to paint our house next year!

When it comes time for the need for interior painting to be done I can guarantee Jeff Walter will be the person at the top of my list. I highly recommend him and his team for any needed small or big painting job inside or out.

Jeff was on time and courteous (called one day and he was there the next for the quote). We walked through the home explaining what work we wanted done, and he explained in some cases what tools/fixes he would use (wall repair, etc). I felt comfortable with his knowledge and skill level, plus his description of his 3 man team. He stated that he could start the project within days and complete the entire project in two-three days. I felt the quote was fair (we got 3 quotes all together and his was slightly lower than the other two), but in the end decided not to hire a professional company. We didn't realize how much labor would cost for such a project. I'd recommend him/his company for others. Besides seeing a previous post here about his work, when I called the local Sherwin Williams store for recommendations of good, reasonable painters, Jeff was recommended.

Jeff's crew came in and went to work! They were very professional covering all my furniture and floors. The job was fantastic. They even went the extra mile and cleaned up some of the old painting mistakes made by previous painters. The little lady which has a very good eye for detail LOVED the job.
