Description of Work: Last year, when the crabgrass and other thick ugly grasses and weeds started taking over my yard, I got fed up and "Round-Up'd" the majority of the front yard, thinking I'd just plant new grass seed. Well....this year I called Tom, told him what I'd done and asked if he'd come take a look at my yard and estimate what needed to be done to fix it and how much it would cost. He came a day earlier than expected, and gave me what I thought was a GREAT price to power rake, overseed and drill seed and add peat moss. It happened to rain the week he was to come, but the first day it stopped, he and his crew were there bright and early. They did a GREAT job, and the grass is now coming up. He even responded quickly to a question I had the next week about what the grass would look like when it started coming up as I was concerned that some things I was seeing were weeds. He uses only certified seed - so no (or virtually anyway) weeds. He was very careful to let me know that I needed to keep the areas moist and not over watered, and to not use a preemergent on the space.

+ 0 moreWe have them for the lawn service here since we bought the place. The monthly fee is variable depending on what they are doing for us. It is one thing if all they are doing is mowing and edging and another if they are doing aeration or fertilization or anything else associated with it. We have been using them for the last 10 years and I like the fact that they are available. I don't think that their price is outrageous but I haven't done any comparison on prices. The quality is fine. They show up every week like they are supposed to but they are not on any fixed time schedule.
Description of Work: We use Tom Olson Lawn Service for lawn and yard work. They are a weekly service.
