This company and technician were professional, accommodating, and punctual within a 2 hour window. The estimated time and cost for installation was on target and reasonable. I will use this company in the future for handyman services without hesitation.

My sunroom started to leak water every time it would rain. Service Call was able to identify the issue (a bad repair job from sometime in the past) and fix it. This required removing and replacing several rows of shingles and rotted roof decking. We've had a few large rains since then and the issues appears to be fixed.

Thoroughly checked machine, giving info on different brands of washers. Leveled machine. Shock absorbers were weak. Parts for this brand are prohibitive. Advised new machine with warranty was best choice. Brand with affordable parts recommended. G E bad---Whirlpool good.

After living with a pink bathtub and pink sink for several years – I decided to update my bathroom. I started by creating a list of updates that I wanted to make which included replacing the pink fixtures, change out the wall/shower surround tiles, installing a heated tile floor, replacing the window and adding an exhaust fan. I secured a few bids and Service Calls was the least expensive. After I gave Service Call the go ahead, they took care of coordinating all the work. I appreciate how Dan worked with me to present options such as replacing or resurfacing the existing tub. Dan presented the pro’s and con’s for each choice and helped me decide how I wanted to proceed (I ultimately decided to resurface the tub). Dan even suggested a few ways I could save some money (such as doing the painting myself). I appreciated that the worked took the time to cover my wood floors during demo and took care to protect my property. I did have quite a bit of construction dust when they were doing drywall work, but I think that is the nature of the beast. Dan communicated with me on a regular basis to keep in informed of the progress. Dan also promptly answered any questions I had along the way – either my phone, text or email. One thing that surprised me was the Service Call did not require me to put down a deposit for them to get started. I did not have to pay for the project until it was complete. After living with the new bathroom for a month, I had a few small items that needed to be addressed (the shower head had a little leak and about an inch of grout was missing on some of the wall surround tiles. I called Service Call and the followed up promptly to resolve the few issues. My project took about a month to complete. Dan worked with me on the timeline. I know if I didn’t have a second bath he would be have able to coordinate the project so I wouldn’t be without a bath. My overall Service Call bill was right at $9,000. I spent about $1000 on tile, $750 on plumbing fixtures/faucets, $150 on electrical fixtures (new wall light and exhaust fan) and $100 on paint. All in my project was just about $11,000.

They provided nothing. They simply replaced the faucet, but they did not repair any of the drainages. They said they were busy and that was after two weeks after I made the appointment. The guy came and spent about 15 minutes changing the faucet and then said he was busy. To change the faucet he said it took one hour and 15 minutes. I am not a handyman, but I can do it in 10 minutes. Then they correctly wired a new stove I bought. I was not happy with the price they charged them and I will never use them. They did not tell me the price upfront. Their communication was good because that is why I hired them.

Dan Young and his associates do it all and with promptness and integrity. They do what you ask them to do at the time they said they would do it and for a fair, reasonable price. I have had them do many services from heating and air conditioning to plumbing to appliance repair. I have no complaints on anything they have done...only kudos.

My garage door cable broke. I called Service Call and they were out ASAP to make the repair. The repair took less than an hour. I've used Service Call for quite a few repairs and I have consistently experienced high quality work.

Rob was very knowledgeable and efficient. He brought his own materials and took his shoes off at the door. He did a great job with the re-caulking and was nice to talk to. I definitely plan on hiring Service Call again for some other projects around the house.

My husband met with them one-on-one, so I can't tell you details, but it always goes well.

I’ve used Service Call for a couple of repairs at my house. They respond to email and phone calls. Each time I’ve used them, they arrived at the time promised. The drywall patch was to cover an old switch that no longer was in use. Now that the wall is painted, I can’t tell where the patch was applied. I also had them switch a few three-pole light switches and helped install an exhaust fan timer. They have been friendly, professional and clean up after themselves.

Service Call did a wonderful job. They were professional, on time and finished the job when they were supposed to. They always return my calls quickly and they're very good.

I thought they were excellent. The person was very experienced in a lot of different things. He did different types of projects. They were reasonably priced. The staff friendliness and professionalism was very good.

Overall, this was a very good experience. The team is very competent, honest, and they do a very good job. I will definitely use them in the future!

Rob diagnosed the problem fairly quickly. He was professional and friendly. After ordering the bearings and pads for the door, he returned to install the parts and did a terrific job. He cleaned up completely afterwards, and he even vacuumed out the interior of my dryer. I will definitely call Service Call again should I have a problem.

After the reasonable estimate was given, I had Service Call return a couple of days later to complete the work. The price was fair and the work seemed like high quality.

The Angie's List rates and the Better Business Bureau ratings is why I went with Service Call. They are excellent. They are on time and professional. They do good work and do what they say they are going to do.

They were extremely helpful. They tried really hard to locate the problem and they fixed it. They were great. This is about the third time I’ve had the leak checked and they were the only ones able to successfully repair it.

Everything went well, without a hitch.

You can't afford not to call Service Call. Dan Young runs an excellent handyman service: If you have a day job, he goes to work at 5 p.m.--no missed work time for you. He shows up when he says he will or calls if there is a hold-up, no more waiting, wondering if a repairman is going to appear. He will tell you how to save money down the road: I live in a neighborhood with relatively new houses, most everyone's driveway has cracked; I have been lucky so far, I talked to Dan about preserving my luck and he came and applied a sealer to the natural gaps in the concrete. It looks great, have had several positive comments from the neighbors and I am betting it will stop water from eroding the ground beneath the driveway. My contractor used plumbing fixtures with a one-year warranty—guess I was fortunate they lasted three. Dan's advice was to buy a particular brand with a lifetime warranty, because he always has the replacement parts on his van. One call to diagnose and repair can save a lot of labor charges. Dan does the maintenance on my heat pump keeping it tuned and operating efficiently. He and his assistant, Rob are clean, neat and remove their shoes if they have been in the mud. They also restore the appearance of the work area. They clean-up after themselves. If like me, you want someone who is honest, on-time, knowledgeable and stands by his word, Service Call (310-8858) is the number to dial.

He is a very nice and friendly worker, and I trust his work and judgement to get the job done correct the first time.

Tonight Dan finished installing an exterior post lamp. The post was put in several days ago and the concrete was setting. He called and then came to the house - worked quickly and made sure the lamp part was straight and secure. Earlier in the week my garbage disposal sounded sick and the sink was backing up. I called and he came that evening to check it. The bearings were bad so he got a new one and installed it that night. He has worked enough for me so he knows what type of quality I want and I trust him to pick things, such as a garbage disposal, out. He gave me advice on using the disposal so that it would last. If what you want done is not an emergency then you may have to work with him on when he will be able to do a project, but he is honest and has a lot of experience with a wide variety of things that houses need maintained, fixed, or improved.
