 + 0 moreWe were very happy with the results. The work really transformed the appearance of our home interior. Dates for work were agreed upon and kept. Phone calls were always returned promptly. This company will probably not be the cheapest, but it will be one of the best groups with which to work. They will help with ideas and will deliver great work with a minimum of hassle.
Description of Work: We had a major interior renovation done including drywall repair, painting, installation of recessed ceiling lights, replacing interior doors, new molding, and reconstruction of a fireplace.

 + -1 moreWhile we did not end up using him for the specific job at hand, I was very impresses with his honesty and professionalism. Herb gave me straight forward pricing on what I was looking at, and had recommendations for good service providers on the things he didn't do. He even was willing to talk to me about some other potential projects that I may have him do later down the line. While our project had moved in a different direction than what I had called about, I am keeping his card on file to call when I do have other projects come up, and as things are still getting settled on this project, I may end up calling him back depending on how the design develops.
Description of Work: We had him come out to provide a quote for services looking at options for deck or patio.

 + -1 moreHe did a great job. People told us we would have to repaint the whole was because we wouldn't be able to get paint to match. He matched the prior paint perfectly. You can't tell it was repaired. He changed out a dead bolt, showed up where it was broken. He replace all the rollers on the kitchen drawers. They are much better now than they were when we moved in 14 years ago. I wish we had done it a long time ago. We will hire them again for home repairs. We were very pleased.
Description of Work: He dry wall opening a plumber made to get to pipes. He put in a new dead bolt and he replaced the runners on kitchen drawers.

Description of Work: I needed a pole replace on my porch. It was wood and was rotting. I wanted a maintenance free pole. Reese came over and gave me a not to exceed estimate of $900. The price ended up at $700. They very nice, wanted to make sure it was done right, kept me informed of the pole because they had to order it. When it came in they gave me a call and installed. Very very good work. I'd use them again and recommend that you do too.

There was a problem with a sub-contractor getting the door stain to match, but Reese Const. stayed with us, worked with the sub-contractor in fixing the problem, and when he could not fix it to our satisfaction, Reese found another sub-contractor that finished the job to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: Tear out upper and lower rotted doors and frames, decking, siding, flooring inside upper door, lower level ceiling. Add flashing between house and deck. Replace the 2 doors, decking, siding, overhead drywall, and flooring. Stain and paint to match.

Description of Work: I needed a pole replaced on my porch. The pole was wood and was rotting. I saw Reese Construction in an ad in the Lincoln Journal Star that they also did handyman service. I thought it might be a load baring wall but contractor said no. I wanted a maintenance free pole and it had to be ordered. I liked the way the gave me a quote. It was a time and material quote not to exceed $900. The price for the pole was $450 and they charged me $100 labor. It it looks GREAT!! I did not have to call them back. They did it right the first time. No pressure sale. Showed them what I needed and they sent me the quote. I'll do business with this contractor again in the future I am sure.
