Very well . We have have some rental properties and have used them when needed .

They cost a little bit more than the going rate but they are with it because they go the extra mile. They are very timely and pleasant work with.

I have a flat roof section that was leaking. Other roofers wanted to replace my rolled roofing with Rubber sheeting and provide only a 1 or 2 year warranty. The Nelsons replaced with rolled roofing at a lower cost and provided a 10+ year warranty on materials and work. They even fit me into their very busy schedule quickly when I called about increased leaking.

My husband is used to being a "DYI'er" but now that he is on spinal fusion #2, he is having to "let go" and let other people complete repairs. He is an engineer and very selective about who works on our home. We plan to hire Neemann and Sons to complete the recommended repairs in the fall (although I was secretly hoping our ugly roof would need to be replaced, but one day, the ho-hum industrial black is going away!). We are loyal to the providers who do excellent work and are willing to work with us and I would give Neemann and Sons the first opportunity to provide an estimate for a new roof when the time comes....

We have had this refuse service since we moved to this address. They have been unfailingly punctual and the haulers often put our garbage cans up next to the house when it is windy out so that they will be less likely to blow away. The only we would be more satisfied is if they would offer a very reasonable curbside recycling. As it is, their service is too expensive so we take ours to a recycling center.

Neeman and Sons were very easy to work with and overall did a fine job. The roof we chose if of very high quality and we knew up front it wouldn't be cheap. It comes with a 50-year warranty and should withstand Nebraska's inclement weather (wind, hail and temperature extremes) just fine. The firm was great to work with and very open. They were also very clean and took time each day to leave the job site in a very clean condition. The only problem we encountered was that our aluminum gutters were unintentionally damaged during the roofing. This was in spite of the concern I expressed up front concerning this possibility and the assurance I was given that no damage would occur. Our home has an 8/12 pitch roof, and only North-South facing slopes. Ladders were placed directly against the aluminum gutters on the two sides and the traffic up and down resulted in them being bent (slightly, but noticeably). Quite a bit of paint was removed from the top of the gutters as our old roof was removed and allowed to slide off to the ground below. When we complained after noticing the damage, the owner (Terry Neemann) offered to replace all of the supporting nails in the gutters to help re-straighten them out. The result wasn't perfect and you can still see some damage, but it looks better than it did before the necessary repair was completed. Neeman was great to work with and the son that led the crew at our home (and indeed the entire crew!) was VERY responsible, friendly and conscientious. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone. But they could have had a perfect rating from me if they had warned me of possible damage to our gutters instead of stating they wouldn't be harmed. Perhaps I should have pushed them to completely replace them afterwards, but I didn't think this would have been fair. It was also not covered under the contract we signed with them.

They were fine and good. They were helpful and prompt.

We had a large rain storm that caused some basement flooding. We caled Neemann and Sons to replace the gutters as they were old and too small fo the area. As we had an approaching vacation, Neeman worked with us to make sure they fit us into their schedule early so we didn't have the same probably while we were out of town and did a very nice job.

I signed the contract in the spring but it was several months before they were able to do the work which was much longer than estimated and longer than I wanted. High quality of work and very professional.

Because the work was done in winter, they had to wait for good weather to complete the job. But they were responsive to our calls and did quality work.

Neemann and Sons Roofing Inc.'s prices were very reasonable. They were very responsive and very professional. It's true, top to bottom. Their staff and the people on-site were very professional. They were efficient. They got the job done quickly and they cleaned up very well. I would highly recommend them.

The emergency gutter repair costs $350 and the gutter cleaning costs $75. The gutter repair was done probably a month-and-a-half ago and the cleaning of the gutters was a week ago. They are nice people, and they did come that day when I called for the emergency gutter repair which I appreciated, but then, when I saw how much that costs, I was really shocked. Their responsiveness failed on one thing. These were two different services, two different times. They get an A for their responsiveness for the emergency fix and a fail on coming over to clean the gutters and resolve a water issue. I e-mailed them and never heard back. It just has been really difficult.

Terry came out and was very courteous and professional. We felt the quality of products and services were excellent, but were not ready to move forward at the time. Neemann and Sons were recommended to us by a neighbor who was very satisfied with his new roof.

Overall we were very satisfied, it allowed us to close on our new home at a fair price. The work was of good quality and we received paperwork from the shingle manufacturer (certainteed) for our 30 years warranty as they are certified installers of this brand. They were fine with receiving payment for this job at the time of closing on the property (a week or so later).

We had Neeman Brothers replace our roof a few years ago. When it was time to replace our siding, we took bids from several area contractors. Neeman Brothers came in with a very competitive bid, and knowing the quality of work they do, we had no hesitation on hiring them for the job. They did not disappoint. They were professional, and the end product looked great.

They were excellent. They helped us get a rebate from the original roofer. I would recommend them to anybody. They are reliable and very competitive as far as price. They have their own working crew year around. It was a job well done. I would use them again in the future.

They were done in a day. They came in, tore the old roof off and put on a new one all in one day. I was very satisfied with them. They have full-time employees; they don't just hire people anywhere. They have good workers and they keep their good workers. I'm pretty sure their price was competitive. They were right on time. They were nice people to deal with and they listened to me.

I called them when it snowed. They came over the next day and removed it. They did a good job, so I signed a contract. They have been out once more since.

The process from start to finish was fantastic. I had contacted several companies in the area for a combined quote on new windows and siding. Terry Neemann and his company provided the best estimate with the best materials. The work was performed in a very professional manner, and the on-site foreman and his crew were fantastic to work with. Their knowledge of the materials they work with is top-notch, as well as the quality of their work. They will provide you with references of their past work, and recommend you to contact the past customers to see how their projects turned out.

Neeman subcontracted to another roofer who did not have experience in Standing Seam roofs. Both roofs have leaked since completion. One house is leaking so bad that there is major interior damage. Neeman has absolutely refused to repair it or assist in any way. The issue is currently under Advisement and review by the Attorney General and the contractor who hired this company is in the process of suing him. Personally I wouldn't hire them to do a dog house.

The workmen were very polite and professional. Two men worked for approximately one hour and then came to the door to tell me that they were finished and that I would receive the bill in the mail. They did a great job.

We just purchased the home as a result of a job transfer from another state and it had defective CertainTeed Horizon shingles that needed to be replaced. My realtor helped me collect bids and I called the companies to get additional information (insurance, age/experience of crew, ...). Neemann and Sons, Inc. didn't ask me for a deposit upfront and did the entire job in one day - and it was the day we asked them to do it. There was no foul language or offensive music while they worked at my house, which I appreciated because my children were around part of the day. The crew was very respectful of my property and protected windows and landscaping during the job. I'm very happy with the quality of work, conduct of the employees and clean up. Outstanding in every way.

I shopped around a great deal and asked around for referrals. Neemann and Sons came well recommended from several sources and had experience installing this somewhat new roofing product. I visited several homes that they had worked on and talked to the owners and received positive recommendations. Our roof is complex. The bid was competitive. The owner, Terry, did all the estimating and was very thorough and cordial. The crew was always punctual and friendly during the installation which took more than a week. They made special accommodations for me to get some painting done, installing roof jacks in places that would allow me to paint, and did not charge for the extras. Terry even let me borrow his non-slip shoes while I did the painting! The complexity of the job resulted in a shortage of material from the original estimate, however I was not charged for the additional costs. It's been 2 1/2 years and no major problems. After this winter, I did notice two small issues I plan to call them back for warranty service--one shingle is loose and there is persistent small drip around a plumbing stack during a heavy rain. The roof looks great.

McEwen Construction contracted Neeman and sons. A report will be filed for both of these companies. This one is for Neemann and sons the original roofing contractor. On 2/28/2006 we (I and my daughter and her then fiancé) contracted with Ryan McEwen of McEwen Construction to be the general contractor in charge of constructing two homes who’s frames were constructed by Yankee Barn Homes who designed and built the shell components of two post and beam homes. I paid for the construction of both homes. The kits were delivered late in May 2006 and early June 2006 and a Yankee Barn Home supervisor stayed to oversee the raising of the frames. All interior and roofing was the contractor’s responsibility. We took possession of the houses in April (for my daughter and her husband) and May (for me) of 2007. The homes were finished with standing seam metal roofs. From the first time it rained in April 2007, we realized there was a problem with the roof of Jennifer and Greg’s home. It was leaking in around a skylight. And unknown to us at that time, it was leaking in several other spots. We immediately contacted McEwen Construction who contacted Neemann and Son’s. Apparently they subcontracted the roofing job out to and yet another roofer. JRS Roofing. JRS Roofing came out and “repaired” it. It leaked even worse than before. We contacted McEwen a total of 5 more times and 5 more times Neemann and Son’s had JRS Roofing come out. Each time there was no relief. Each time it took longer for anyone to come out and we were getting the distinct feeling that no one even cared. Finally after numerous complaints and appeals and turning to the Better Business Bureau, McEwen Construction had Weathercraft come out and look at Jennifer and Greg’s roof. This was in August of 2007 (report is included). They didn’t look at the whole roof at that time, just at the places where there were leaks. They said that this entire portion of the roof needed replacing. A report was sent to McEwen Construction. We heard nothing. It continued to leak. It became apparent that the entire utility room was affected, stains and obvious water damage was appearing in the roof, walls and the beams. We continued to complain. In May 2008 we had A1 Mold Testing and and Remediation come out and check the damage in the utility room of Jennifer and Greg’s home. The report showed there was substantial damage. This report is also included. Then in June 2008, a roofer from Sprague Roofing (Lincoln Nebraska) came out to look at the roof. Apparently he was asked to do this by Neemann and sons who didn’t believe the extent of the problem. The roofer from Sprague roofing not only said that the entire roof was installed incorrectly but that all the skylights were damaged beyond repair and would need replacing. He also said that he suspected that even though my house was not leaking, that the roof was done incorrectly as well. Somewhere in here we contacted an attorney. However since Nebraska is a state where legal fees cannot be recouped, we could not move forward. We finally had McEwen Construction and Neemann and sons come out in July 2008. Neemann and Sons agreed that it had to be fixed. We requested that WeatherCraft do the re-roofing, as they are known for their competence with metal roofs. I personally contacted WeatherCraft and asked if they would look at my roof when they came out to do the estimate on Jennifer and Greg’s. They did, it needed replacing. We were told that Neemann and Sons agreed to have WeatherCraft replace the roofs. Then McEwen Construction contacted us again in late July 2008. They said that Neemann and sons agreed to do the re-roofing if they were the ones doing the roofing. I was a bit taken back by this, they had originally said that WeatherCraft would do it as we requested. And I contacted WeatherCraft and asked about the advisability of having Neemann and Sons do the roofing. They said that Neemann and Sons do not have the expertise to do metal roofs. We said no, Neeman and Son’s had tried before, the obviously did not have the expertise, we wanted it done right. McEwen Construction did have WeatherCraft come out to put a temporary fix in place so that there is no more water damage in Jennifer and Greg’s home. 9/12/2008 we were informed by McEwen that Lohmeir Metal Roofs was to do the repairs. We met on 9/25/2008 and again McEwen claimed that the roofs were to be repaired as soon as possible and then the interior damage would be repaired. Sometime in December, Lohmeir came out to look at the roofs, but due to weather, they could do nothing on that day. They have never come back. In 2009 we asked for the Nebraska Attorney Generals assistance with this. They are continuing to mediate. Neemann and son’s continue to dodge us.
