house cleaning
+ -1 moreIt is so nice to come home to a clean home. The crew was so nice to my kids and dog along with doing a nice job. If ever there was something missed, I could call and Renee was very responsive. Patti is awesome. She is the crew leader and super nice. She really takes pride in her job and the work she does. I feel confident that I can trust the people in my home while I am at work. There is about 2x a year that do a deep spring and fall clean that is great. Overall, I am pleased. I had cleaning companies before and they promised how the home will smell like cinnemon in this room, and flowers at the sink ect but then nothing seemed clean when I came home (or smelled clean). I definitely feel like my home is clean after Renee's crew was there. I found that Renee really gets to know her clients and is very responsive.
Description of Work: I hired Renee's crew to clean my house for the last 2 years. At first we had them come every other week. Now they come every week.

+ -1 moreI had hired Renee to clean my mother's house before she came home from the hospital after heart surgery. I used her company because she had cleaned, at that time, for the real estate company my mom worked for. Renee came over, and agreed that there wasn't a lot to tackle, my mom has and always will be a better housekeeper than I could ever hope to aspire to. However, there was dusting, floors, toilets and sinks, etc to be completed. I did point out that the ceiling fan blades needed to be dusted, the top of the china hutch, window blinds, etc. I can remember Renee saying, of course they do, that is standard. She cleaned for us the morning before mom came home in the afternoon. I had told my mom about what I had done, and she was quite happy with the surprise. Well, the surprise was on us, because when we got to the house, NONE of the items I had pointed out, and that Renee had agreed to do, were completed. This was not the outcome I had wanted after having paid to have the house cleaned. It took a few days of haggling over the phone for Renee to come back out and complete that job she was hired to do. I still ended up doing some of it before she got there, for fear that my mom would decide to do it.

+ -1 moreInitially I hired Miller Cleaning several years ago to clean my office. I was so impressed that I hired them for my home as well. It later went down hill. The cleaning was not as good and in April 2008 I stopped using them for my office. I had prepaid through July and was supposed to get refunded. I tried for more than a year to get my refund, but never received it. My house cleaning was okay, not great, but because of the bad business practices with my office, I stopped using them for my home as well. I would stay away from this company and certainly do not prepay or lock into a contract with them.
Description of Work: Miller Cleaning cleaned both my 2800 square foot office and my home.

Description of Work: Beware of this outfit. Their service has increasingly gotten worse. There were numerous times where we had to have the crew come back in because they did not clean one of the rooms, didn't vacuum, didn't clean the hardwood floors, bathrooms, etc.(all of which is specifically outlined in the contract). We also had multiple occasions of the crew still being in our house after 5:00 P.M. My wife and I would come home from work and the cleaning crew would still be there. They had a 9 hour window(8:00-5:00)to get it done and were still around "after hours." We complained numerous times to the owner and it still went on. Finally, once we told the crew that they had to leave and reschedule it stopped. Their workers broke our bath tub drain and the owner initially agreed to reimburse us for the damages. She recommended her plumber, we used that plumber, and once services were rendered, she said that she wouldn't pay for the tub. Completely irresponsible behavior on her part. We're also yet to be reimbursed for a broken collectible caused by one of their workers(a vase was also broken by one of their workers-but "accidents happen" according to the owner). We told her in January that we no longer wished to use her service and wanted to be reimbursed for the unused sessions(we prepaid-huge mistake on our part)and we are yet to see any type of reimbursement numbers. If you're in the market for a cleaning service, this is definitely not the company to use!
