Although we thought it was likely we would need to replace the machine--given its age--we decided to give Mike's Appliance Service a call first based on reviews read on Angie's List. Mike arrived on time and quickly found the cause of the problem. He recommended repairing it because, as he said, "they just don't make them like this anymore." We were told exactly what the repair would cost, including parts and labor, and decided to go ahead with the repair. Almost a year later, that old washer is still working great!

Description of Work: The price turned out to be rather more expensive than I expected, since his labor took only 20 min. or so. But my fridge is working fine and his prompt work was helpful. As an ordinary customer who doesn't know anything about all those mechanical parts and technical issues, I just need to say that I have no idea about the price, whether it was fair or overcharged. And yet overall my experience with this service provider was fine.
