Because of the amount of hail damage all around Lincoln, it took a while to get the roof done, but they were so great at getting it completed, and cleaned up better than I could have.

McKinnis did quality work and were good at keeping it cleaned up around house during the job. The project manager, Ryan DeBolt, was very responsive whenever I called him and he worked directly with the insurance company to make sure all the damage was covered. They went above and beyond by including new shutters (I wanted a different color) and new window. We are very pleased with the results!

Mckinnis was one of three we contacted. We had an existing roof leak and asked for help in determining the hows and whys. They made several recommendations. They were the highest of the 3. We took their bid and all of their recommendations. we chose not to haggle with them about the price so that they would not be able to say we took shortcuts etc. Unbeknownst to us they then subcontracted the work. midway through the work we noticed that they had not installed the vents that they had sold as part of the project. I forced them to go back over and redo the roof where the vents were supposed to be. They did not hook up the vents to the vent pipes from the bathroom vans as we asked them to do and they had to be called out for that. After the first rain we noticed there were bad leaks around our chimney. They tried to claim that was our fault and the roof had leaked previously there. That was incorrect and it took them 2 return tries to correct the problem. Our original leak was not fixed. We now believe that it is a flashing problem, however we had asked them to help us locate that problem and if it was not the roof then we would pay extra to have that fixed. The salesman would not accept responsibility for the problems and it was only after the insurance company contacted them that they owned up to the problem of the leak at the chimney. After that was all fixed we then got a letter from Mckinnis' attorney telling us they were through and that we were not to contact them again. I understand that the salesman manager of the Lincoln office we worked with is no longer at Mckinnis and works for another roofing company now.
