+ -1 moreFirst he built a new beam just outside of the old one and supported it with three 6x6 timbers. Once the deck was supported by the new structure he left the old supports in place for a week to insure the new ones were setup in the cement. He had dug 42 inch deep holes for the footings which is deeper than code requires at 36 inches. Then he built new stairs with stringers made to fit onsite and new hand rails. The work exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. We are now very happy to have a good strong support structure under our deck that should last for many years to come. I would highly recommend Chads work to anybody his expertise exceeds anybody I know. Thanks for a job well done.
Description of Work: Replaced the supports for a 12ft x 24ft deck and built new stairs to replace the old.
