+ -1 moreWayne came to my house on February 29 to give me an estimate on some work that I had to have done around the house. On March 10, he started the work. He never completed it. I have called and sent several emails and text messages and haven't heard back from him. On his voicemail it says that if you need to reach him immediately, you should call the office. When I call the office the phone number has been disconnected. Before leaving this review, I saw a response that Wayne was in an accident on February 26 and was in the hospital for 10 days and hasn't regained the use of his right hand or speech. Interesting, considering he started on my job on March 10...I have now had to hire someone else to finish the job and have paid again, so I am out $195.

Description of Work: Wayne Harms of Heartkand Construction/Heartland Home Services and 500 |Roofing did not finish job he was paid in full for. He started work in late December and as of today, March 7th he has still not completed job. He left our house up on jacks without finishing the work in our crawl space and also left us a huge mess to clean up. Wayne kept making excuses for why he wasn't finishing his contracted work and finally just stopped communicating with us at all. We paid him for things he did not complete, including putting in the posts to support our house and floor, radon testing and venting and lead testing of our water. We will now have to hire another contractor to finish his work and will be out a substantial amount of money that he took but did not do the work for. Do not hire this person.

Description of Work: Wayne and his Heartland crew rebuilt my Huskers Headquarters after my basement wall started to push in and crack allowing water to seap through onto my 65 in sony and prized collection of Husker football memorabilia. You know they came in here and started just goin at it jackhammers cutting concrete walls in half with a saw & backhoe swinging. and in less then a week wham they were setting new carpet down and i was ordering a new Huskers flat screen. Thank you,Heartland, jim and larry and wayne yuor always welcome to come watch a game. John Rokki-Lincoln,Ne.
