Travis came out and gave me my options of replacing the broken torsion spring with another single spring as per the original set up, or install 2 springs. He was not pushy at all and just gave the facts between one spring versus two. I decided to go with 2 springs because the labor was the same as replacing 1 spring so it was only another $54 for the additional spring. I also decided on 2 springs because when you have a single and it breaks, you can't get the door up to get your car out. With a double when one spring breaks, you can assist the door along with the opener and at least get it open. Travis also tightened the hinges, oiled them, and applied grease to my garage door opener's worm gear. He did this on both my double door and single garage door even though he only replaced the springs on the double door. Both doors are now very quiet running and operate smoothly. Owner Dave is a Lincoln native and has hired an outstanding employee in Travis. Dave obviously runs his business with integrity and charges fair prices. I would highly recommend Door Doctor for your garage door needs, and that's coming from a 30+ year shop teacher in the school system.

Called Dave, said he would come over in a little bit. Dave called me back in an hour to say he was on his way. He and his helper straightened the door, and serviced the door and checked the opener. Did a very good job!!! Would recommend to everyone

Doug and his team were fantastic!! They did a quality job, and went above and beyond in their service, including doing some additional work that wasn't planned while they waiting for additional parts to arrive. I will be using them shortly to install another one!

I can't say enough positive things about Door Doctor. From the first time I called to the time they pulled out of my driveway after the job was done, it was excellent service. I called for an estimate and had someone arrive and give me a very clear picture of my choices of product and the costs. There was no hard sell or up sell at all. I was the one who had to ask about and suggest that I get a new opener along with the new door. Ordering the door was easy, and it took about a week and a half, but that was because I didn't order until the end of the week. If you order on Monday or Tuesday, your door should be in by the following Monday. Installation was done by the owner, along with a couple of his employees. It took just 4 hours for the entire job to be done. They swept my garage floor at the end and took the time to show me how to operate the new opener and were happy to answer any questions I have. Don't go elsewhere. This is the place to get your garage door serviced or replaced.

We have used them before. The service was very good. They were pretty prompt. They had to reschedule because there was so much snow that people could not get out. The service was completed very promptly.

OUTSTANDING! They responded to a call for help with my older garage door last winter within a day of calling. Took care of the issue and said to call them when I was ready for a new door. So once we were all moved in July I called them to come out and give me a quote to replace the old door. Dave the owner is just great to work with. He listens to your needs and then presents a range of options to meet your needs and budget. No hard sell. Leaves you with the materials/brochures for you to make the decision. Once you decide he makes all the measurements, discusses options and features, then places the order. Took about 3 weeks to get the door in and it was installed today. So here is the bottom line. He makes sure everything is perfect from fit to wiping off dirt during the install. The attention to detail in every aspect is fantastic. So here is my recommendation. I only got one quote to replace my old door and that was from Door Doctor. Dave does his business like it use to be done.... 1) Prompt response 2) Professional and courteous service 3) Attention to detail throughout the process 4) Installs your door like he was installing it at his house 5) The feeling that if something isn't quite right at any time...he'll take care of you That's what American Businesses use to do. Glad to know some small businesses still believe in taking care of their customers! A+ in all regards! Need I say more?

I really appreciated his honesty. The work was done without me being present He called me at work - explained the problem and cost I approved and it was done. The service was beyond my expectations.

I am so happy. They were early which worked out pretty fine for me that day. They were quick and the price was right. I don't have anything bad to say about them. They did respond. Our garage door was so old and there were certain things he couldn't do with the door. If I need to get a new door I probably need a new garage.

I hired this company for two reasons: It is a small business in my town, and they were focused on quality and price. I had gotten a quote from another company in town, a larger and more and quot;knownand quot; name, (NOT an Angie's List business) and was only able to get a quote over the phone (they did not see a need to come out in person) for a similar product. That quote was 25% higher than what the Door Doctor gave me. What Dave, the owner, told me was that being a small local company (I believe there are only two total employees), he cannot afford to provide a product that is not high quality, as doing so would put him out of business fast. They seem very proud of the product that they provide, and being small, are also able to provide a better price since the overhead is lower. I believe that the door we purchased is a higher quality than the other company was offering - not only the door itself, but the components that come with it (rails, bearings, etc.). Those small items might seem irrelevant in comparison, but they can be the difference between a lasting product and one that needs servicing within the first year of ownership. Good job!

They were recommended by Overhead Door (too busy). They were on time (in fact early) for estimate. Needed some quick repair work done to the existing door and pulleys. The did the work for free not knowing they would win the bid war. Reasonable estimate, timely date for install. Day of install both (owner and worker) showed up (again early). Workmanship and professional attitudes throughout the 3-4 install time.
