He was going to contact a door company that they use for a subcontractor. I talked to Terry personally and he never called back again.

He is great. He is reasonably priced and very thorough. He works for everything and he didn’t give me a number. It was thorough and he did it right. I think everybody should be like him. His prices came right in the middle, its good price.

Oh well, time to give my $$$ to someone else.

The end result and quality of the craftsmanship exceeded our expectations... Terry did an outstanding job. We were impressed by Terry during his first visit when he provided his estimate. Our project was fairly small in scope and cost, but Terry was very thorough and thoughtful and he was able to get his preferred electrician, painter and carpet installer on the phone immediately when he had questions or needed advice. Basically, Terry made sure to gather all the info he needed and covered his bases before he quoted a price. The final price of the project actually came in a few hundred dollars lower than Terry's estimate. Terry also did a great job coordinating the entire project, and his subs always showed up promptly and completed their work quickly with outstanding quality. He and his network of subcontractors were all very pleasant/personable, professional, hard working, and their craftsmanship was all high quality. Terry was particularly thoughtful, thorough, knowledgable about his trade, and very detailed. Terry even made sure that the painter used a water-based stain on the doors in order to cut down on the fumes that could irritate our infant daughter... we're really appreciated that!!! We are very satisfied with the results of the project, and we love the new French doors. This small project actually had a huge impact on the flow and usability of the basement. Terry and his subs all did a fantastic job. We highly recommend Terry Kirkpatrick, and we will definitely use him again for other projects.

Terry was very helpful and my mom has kept his name and number and referred him to others . My mom isn't the easiest person to please all the time and she was very happy with the service and work Terry completed for her.

Terry called me after I had sent him an email. He told me to select a door and then let him know when that was done. I did that and he picked it up within minutes after I had left the store. He then installed the door the next day.

Contacted him on a Saturday morning, he personally told me that he would call and come over in a couple of days. Tomorrow is Wed. and haven't heard from him. Everyone has a phone...use it. He could have called and said something came up sorry I didn't get back to you can we set up a time and date. Simple....didn't happen. So, I will hire someone that really wants and needs the money.

I also asked for some estimates for a bathroom repair, installation of a water softener and an estimate to install laminate flooring. He conducted an inspection of the bathroom and discovered what needed to be replaced. I told him that my wife wanted to choose the new fixture, therefore, had to postpone the completion of that project and Terry was very accommodating. He referred me to a plumber that he recommends for the water softener and was honest about him not improving on the laminate flooring installation. I definitely appeciated that. Overall, I would highly recommend this service provider for any odd jobs you have. I found him quite reasonable with his rates and someone I feel I could trust. There was a delay because of a death in Terry's family but once everything started it went like clockwork. Terry and his crew arrived promptly every day. The day of the demolition of the old cabinets, thery got all of it out quickly and with a minimum of mess and noise. Terry coordinated well with the management of the apartment building where I live and everything removed was recycled. Terry also worked well with the people at Lowe's to be sure measurements were exact and everything was ordered correctly. Terry arranged the schedules for the electrician, plumber, painter, drywaller, and flooring people. They all arrived at the time they said they would and they all cleaned up well after themseves. All of the subcontractors were very professional and very pleasant to have around. Terry asked me lots of questions about how I wanted things done, for example which way I wanted cupboard doors to open, where should the handles go, how I wanted the shelves spaced etc. My kitchen space is really small but it is now much better organized and looks great! I would not hesitate to recommend Terry or any of his crew to friends who needed work done.

Overall, it went well. The old fence was torn down and recycled. The company let people know the old fencing was available and they came and took the pieces away. It was no work at all for us as homeowners. The company purchased all of the new materials and made suggestions about hardware. Some of our old hardware was re-painted by the company which saved us some money. We were given advice about not pushing dirt up under the fence and that there should be a space between the bottom of the fence and the ground. This will help preserve the fence in the future.

Overall Terry is a nice guy and the reason I am taking the time to write a review even though I didn't hire him for work was his honesty. He basically came to our house and told us that what we wanted done wasn't going to work and also told me what his limitations were. I would hire him to do basic handy work and it sounds like he can do more, but at my house he wasn't just looking for work- he said no I can't do that. I have a feeling that another contractor could find a way to install a laundry chute in our house but Terry knew he wasn't the guy so he told us that.

The work was completed on time and on budget.

His price was reasonable. I will use him again in the future.

So far he was pleasant and informative to chat with and so far I am extremely pleased with them.

Initially, I e-mailed him and didn’t hear anything back so I called him and he called me a day later. We exchanged a few calls back and forth and I eventually told him what the job entailed. It sounded like he would be able to do the job. It seemed like he had overbooked himself because we could never find a time that he was able to come out. If he was too busy, I would have appreciated him letting us know so that I wouldn’t have wasted time hoping that he would do the work and trying to get a hold of him. We still haven’t heard from him.

Terry was very prompt, professional and helped me make new door decisions. He installed an electronic dog door perfectly even without clear instructions from the company. He completed the job in a timely and cost effective manner.

Terry was very prompt in coming to take a look at the fence. He is a no-nonsense kind of guy and the visit was quick. He was able to explain the pros and cons of two options for the repair and we chose the simplest/cheapest. Shaun came to do the work and he arrived and finished within the window we scheduled. He was friendly and professional and did high-quality work. We will call them again when we are in need of carpenters.

I needed my old front door removed & a new one put in place & Terry gave me an estimate on the phone of what it would cost, both materials & labor. His estimate was very accurate (minus my Angie's List coupon), & he was very punctual. He picked up the door I'd chosen at the store & brought it with him. He even suggested I paint the new frame & he would return at a later date of my choosing before replacing the storm door.

Terry was by far the most reasonable bid I received. He always answered the phone and we arranged to have the work done on the weekend when it was most convenient for me. His subs were friendly and courteous and very fast! They tried hard to not be in the way even though I had unexpected guests and a very small house. I will definitely call him again.

Came by to preview work within a few hours of initial call. On day of appointment, called ahead to advise us of estimated arrival time. Terry and his partner set to work immediately and finished in about 1-1/2 hours. All work was completed to our satisfaction.

Terry met us at the store, arranged transportation of the shed box to our house and promptly assembled it. He did a wonderful job!

I planned what I wanted, called Terry for input and discussed my options. Upon his advice, we made several changes to the project. He refigured the pricing and changes were made to the contract. Work progressed as planned. He was very neat and took great care to see that nothing was disturbed, putting things into place at the end of each day. The job was finished as promised and on time. We are very pleased.
