Excellent. Got to do the work sooner than expected. Crew did a great job and the cleanup was perfect!

They came out the same day and completed the work two days later. They would have done it the next day but it rained.

The actual crew that showed up to do the work was on time, professional, worked very fast, and did a quick and safe job of removing the three trees, one was a smaller dead tree about 40 ft high, the other two were closer to 50+ feet tall, 90 years old and large. The cleaned up behind themselves, and left no trace they had even been there. The price was not cheap, but I hired them due to reputation and expected a good result and was not disappointed in the actual work. The actual work crew was great. I was however not happy with the process of getting the bid for the work nor for the process Eddie used to receive payment and the receipt I was given for the work done. I had to haggle and pin Eddie down to give me a FIRM bid... he wanted to give me an open ended quote with a $1000 variance plus or minus in what the end price could be. After making him give me a hard "This price is what we will do the work for" number I okayed the work. When we discussed method of payment he stated "He had to have a cash payment that day". Which means I had to go run to the bank that day and one other time to hand him the total IN CASH for the work done. He also never gave me anything like a professional bid sheet or reciept, he wrote out the bid on the backside of one of their company door hangers, and also used that to sign "paid in full on" when the transaction was complete. Really? A bonded insured company with a good reputation cannot afford a pad of business receipts?

Excellent company! This is the second time I've used Blue Ox and this time I was present for the work. The staff is professional and courteous. They were quick and responsive to my requests. Eddie and his team explained everything they were going to do and why, so it was educational as well. Their clean-up was impressive. Don't waste your time getting bids as I did - Blue Ox quotes a fair price and they perform as a competent, affordable tree service company!

It was exactly what I would expect from a company that is the best in the business.

As a landlord, I've used Blue Ox a couple of times now. I have property in Lincoln but do not live there. It is so great to have a company that I can call and trust to get work done properly every time. Blue Ox answers their phone (rare these days), provides estimates within a day or so, communicates frequently via e-mail and text, even sending me photos so I don't have to travel to inspect the work. My tenants say that it looks like nothing ever happened because they clean-up so well after their work. Their prices are very competitive as well, so they are on my "go-to" list.

They were amazing. Again I've just been so lucky.

It went very well they got here and started work before I even realized what was going they worked quickly and surprisingly quietly and never bothered my wife and I and then when they finished they loaded up and went off to help someone else I would imagine.

Everything was great. They answered when I called. The field guy contacted me within an hour. Gave me a quote the same day as I contacted them and had the stumps ground by 9:30 AM the following day. All for a cost less than I had anticipated. Very friendly during the whole process.

The workers were fast and listened to my instructions on the removal. They were polite And I would highly recommend them for work.

Blue Ox notified us promptly when they had to change the schedule due to stormy weather. They arrived on Friday afternoon and removed about half of the tree in two hours, and returned on Monday to finish the job. Everyone was very respectful and professional.

When I called Blue Ox they took all my information and was told that they would get that information to their office. The person who took my information was friendly and courteous. I was surprised when Eddy called me about 45 minutes later to tell me that he would be over in the afternoon. I was not expecting to get it done in the same day that I called. When Eddy showed up he came to the door and introduced himself. We walked to the area that needed work and I explained what I needed done. Eddy quoted me the price and we were thrilled. As he was beginning to get started he explained that he was going to get over the lip of the garden and that he was worried it could split the wood edging. I told him that it was okay and he proceeded. It made me happy that he checked with me and showed care with the edge of the garden. It took him about 30 minutes to take care of the stump and he cleaned up the area when he was finished. I was so happy with the work that I plan on contacting Blue Ox for other jobs that need to be done in our yard.

He then provided an estimate of what that would cost. * the estimate was very fair and we as set up a time for the work to be done. * we received a phone call that an opening was available earlier than expected. Right before scheduled time we received a text message that the crew was on their way. This was great for planning!!! * the crew was well informed on what expectations were and the details of the job. * the crew was extremely professional, worked quickly and efficiently. * the crew was careful with anything "in their way" and stayed in contact with us. * we were very pleased with the job of clean up they did - they raked areas where leaves or limbs had fallen, swept, etc. we were very pleased with the service and will use again. Excellent! They were timely, and very efficient. They took every thing away and cleaned the spot whet the branches and limbs had laid. From the time I called to see if they did that kind of work, until the job was complete was about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. You couldn't ask for better and quicker services. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Blue Ox provided great customer service! I emailed for a consultation on a Thursday afternoon and had a visit and an estimate Friday morning. A very reasonable price and was able to come back that same day to do the work. I had 1 stump and 6 large root clusters ground down within 45 minutes. I had never seen this work performed and was pleasantly surprised to see that it essentially tills the surrounding area. Now I can plant my flower beds with much less effort!! It went well. They were right on time. There were six guys and a shredder-cherry picker truck. Did the work quickly, efficiently, and professionally. Cleaned up with they were done. The price was more than other estimates but for the quick and professional job they did it was worth it.

We had 2 large trees that were in desperate need of trimming and raising the canopies on both. We got 3 quotes from different companies and after meeting with Ed from Blue Ox, it was an easy decision. The crew arrived on time and were very courteous. They did an amazing job and we are very pleased with how much better and healthier our trees look! They work quickly but safely and were able to give us amazing results within our budget. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree services!

on day one men climbed the tree and used cherry picker to remove all the secondary branches they could and on day two they brought in a huge crane to lift the biggest trunks over the house. then they pared down the bottom part of the trunk to get it ready , short enough to completely grind out. After the trunk was ground out the crew completely cleaned up the back yard and reinstalled the chain link fence that was taken down to get the cherry picker truck into the back yard. Very pleased with the work, service. Will use for future tree trim needs.

I am very happy with the service of Eddie and Blue Ox. My call for an estimate was responded to quickly. The service took place just a few days later after Eddie and I discussed exactly what needed to be done. The price was very fair and the clean up was beyond my expectations. No one would ever know that they were here except that the trees look great! I'm so glad I found a responsive, fair business for my future tree care needs.

They were outstanding. Not only did they show up when they said that they would, but they did the job quickly and well. They also did a great job of cleaning up. I couldn't be happier!

The office manager was professional, very courteous and scheduled a quote for the work we wanted done in the yard. There was some miss-communication between the office manager and the person that did the work on what I wanted to be done to the yard. He did a wonderful job, I just wanted a few more lower branches trimmed that he wasn't aware of. However, the person doing the work came out the next day and trimmed a few more of the lower branches we wanted removed and didn't charge us additional money to do it. He was very professional, understanding, listened to my concerns and did the additional work we discussed. I would definitely use them again and will for all future needs. They did a great job!

They were in & out super quick. They cleaned up everything and never even knew they were there! The guy that did the estimate really explained everything well so no surprises.

They showed up on time to review the job and put together a proposal. When I agreed to it they set up a time that worked for both of us. When they had an opening in their schedule they offered it to me, which I accepted. They showed up right on time-- the job took a tad longer than they estimated, but still got it done within the expected range. I am a pleased customer. Am happy to have their sign in my yard for a few days.
