+ 1 moreI had called a large appliance repair company in town that I use for Warranty Service on a newer appliance and they came out and did diagnose the problem right but the quote was going to be for about $400 to fix it. I found Alan's info and called him and he let me know that the part I needed can be just as good refurbished, and he stands behind his work, parts, and appliance sales 100%. With any items he refurbs and sells - he gives a 1 year warranty (free service) on them. That's service!!! So he brings the refurb parts to my house the next day after I call him and was able to swap just a tiny piece on that one part and got my fridge working again in under an hour!! I saved $300 by calling this guy and he was SUPER knowledgeable and been in the business here in Lincoln for like 12 years - just not a "big company" - he's the one man team. And I would call him again any day. In fact I've already referred a couple friends to him that needed someone and they too plan to use him again when needed.
Description of Work: Fridge had a bad heating coil and needed to be replaced. Instead of having to pay triple for a new one, Alan (owner) not only brought refurbished as an option but he also was able to replace one small part saving me hundreds of dollars.
