The owner trespassed with on my property with a bobcat, tore up my yard, buried my spriklers and won't do anything about it. He won't respond to calls or messages. I had to have to police come out and file a report. Search Mark Alley on Facebook and you'll see a pattern of this behavior.
Description of Work: He was working on my neighbor's driveway. He may do adequate work for the person paying him but dgaf about property boundaries or damages.

Their bid was close to 2 others we received. We picked Alley because of positive reviews on Angie's list, purported experience working around pools, promise to minimize disruption to yard/landscape and clean up. Mark and his crew showed up within the time frame agreed upon to start the multiple projects. Initially we were told they would wait to pour the shed to avoid driving the concrete truck over the soft wet ground but ultimately went ahead with pouring at the same time as the other sites were poured resulting in some deep ruts as predicted . The work was completed in three work days and they came back four days later to remove the wood frame work. We assumed they would also clean up the excess concrete and waste. When they did not show it took us two days to clean up the areas involved and we hauled off nearly two wheel barrels of concrete, sand filler, wood stakes, spacing foam pieces and other debris. We found dried concrete piles in the middle of the yard, in the landscape and even in the pool. The concrete truck apparently cleaned it's chutes on the road directly in front of our drive requiring grading the gravel road to clean it up. The final bill was $1000 higher than the estimate but did include extra segments of the front walk not originally planned on but also several hundred more for sand filler etc. that were unanticipated. We feel the quality of the actual concrete work is very good. Mark and his crew were quite pleasant to work with. The difference in the final cost is mostly explainable. But the mess and debris left behind by the crew and concrete truck was very unfortunate and seriously diminished our overall opinion of Alley Concrete Construction to the point we probably would not use them again nor recommend them to our friends and neighbors. We felt our property was left like a new construction site and perhaps that's where this contractor excels
Description of Work: Removed and replace 3 sections of the driveway. Removed and replaced front walk. Removed and replaced step. Repaired cracked concrete on patio adjacent to in-ground pool. Poured ~ 18' x 30' concrete floor in shed with 20' pad.

Their work was fine, however, he did not quite do the sidewalk shape exactly the way I wanted it done. He did not allow for downspout draining like we had talked about beforehand. He had the city come out and look at the cracks in the sidewalks--they told him what could be replaced. He ended up replacing what he could.
Description of Work: He replaced a section of my driveway and the sidewalk leading up to my home.

We contacted the company by phone and the same evening we received a visit and verbal quote. The next day we received a written quote and the final payment was exactly what was quoted, even though additional unexpected costs were incurred by the company. Job was completed within a few days, weather permitting. Coordination was made with other contractors in a transparent and effective manner. We were very pleased with the result.
Description of Work: Poured concrete patio and repaired front sidewalk. Some damage was sustained to the lawn and we had not considered that in our budget. Would recommend lawn repair be part of the planning/budgeting process.

Description of Work: Alley Concrete Construction removed a huge badly broken driveway and replaced it with a thicker layer with rebar. They were completely professional in every way, and completed the job on time and within budget. I would certainly use them again.

They went far beyond what the contract said. They brought in some extra dirt to put around the concrete driveway and parking area and made it look very nice. It looks excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: They did some extensive concrete work for me.
