Mike Duester (of Central Home Construction) built the home we purchased in 2007. Immediately after we purchased our home, we had him install a privacy fence for the house and then a year later we had him finish our basement. Any issue we have EVER had related to home improvements we call Mike to come and help fix it. He is very reasonably priced, he is honest, incredibly hard working, punctual and backs up his work. The craftsmanship of his work is wonderful and our home is a joy to live in. He worked with us on a variety of different pricing options for finishing our basement to help keep it as cost effective as possible for us and he told us all the specific materials we would need so we could cut down on costs by ordering and picking up our materials ourselves. He is so wonderful, that he has become a close family friend and is the FIRST person we call for any housing related issue because we know he will give us his honest opinion, even if it is a referral to a specialist in electrical work or plumbing. We trust him 100% and have always recommended him to anyone who is looking for a great contractor or general handyman. We also have two kids and when someone is working in your home, that can sometimes be a concern if you do not know them well. The kids always wanted to watch him work on the basement and he let them, explained what he was doing and why to them, and answered all their questions, they always loved when Mike would come over! This is a man I would have no problem handing my keys to and allowing to do work in my home while I am not there, he is that trustworthy and honest! I give Mike and Central Home Construction my HIGHEST possible recommendation!
