They responded very quickly to our problem, gave great service.

It went great. They finished in the basement and when they were ready to leave I mentioned the kitchen drain leaked once in awhile. They checked it out and discovered it was where the dishwasher and drain came together. They were very professional and did not rush.

They arrived right on time. First tried augering out the drain, then tried a chemical fix in addition to augering. Finally had to give up on that and cut out the pipe and replaced it. The old drain pipe looked like it was full of black tar -- no wonder water couldn't get through. K and G also previously installed a gas line for my new stove, and the service that time was equally prompt, well done, and right on estimate. I'd hire them again in a minute.

They have competitive prices, but a bit on the high side. They are very good.

Their pricing was reasonable. I felt that they were very efficient. They are usually easy to get a hold of.

My boiler went out in winter so I called K and G. They came out to take a look and I showed them i needed a new control board. They said they'd order the part and come back. The service tech told me it should be a relatively quick fix and shouldn't be much. When the part came in they sent over a different service tech than the first one. I was not home but left the back door open for him. I showed up right as he was about to leave. So he brought me inside and showed me what he did. He installed the wrong part and didn't even bother to see if it was working!!! I informed him it was the the control board that needed replaced not the ceramic igniter. He left and came back with the right part and installed it in about 15 minutes. a couple weeks later I ge a bill for $470. $405 for the part and $65 for labor. I went online and looked up the part. The most common price I found it for was $130. I called and asked them why I was being charged $400 for a $130 part. The lady got snotty with me on the phone. I later received a letter stating if i would like they would come install the part. I called another local place and found the same part for $150. (reasonable mark up) So I called K and G and told them they could come get their part. The service techs came and were real nice, unlike the lady who i had to deal with on the phone again. I thought it was all over and now i have a bill for $101.14 for restocking and fee's. So even though i'm having someone else install the part it'll still cost me over $300 in the end if I pay them what they ask.
