+ -1 moreTwo gentlemen arrived as scheduled, removed all old windows and installed the new vinyl clad double pained windows. They were very professional, clean and very knowledgeable in what they did. I was super impressed. I had used Window World of Grand Island, approximately 10 years prior in my own home and replaced all 27 windows in a 1926 bungalow. Wow, is all my neighbors could say. They were all impressed with how the home looked after they were installed. I chose the criss cross lattice on the top in that home. Absolutely loved them. Definitely recommend Window World of Grand Island to anyone. Salesman Bob is very knowledgeable and helpful also.

+ -1 moreService was good. Brad the owner was very responsive. We've only had one post-install issue and brad came out to fix it, no hassle. All the windows we looked at were made the same, these were just half the price.

+ -1 moreThe agent in Holdrege was easy to work with, and less pushy than Bristol, and quicker to respond than a local contractor. The price was a third of what Bristol wanted and slightly less than contractor with higher quality new construction windows. I would have gone with the contractor had he gotten me the bid a lot sooner. The windows I got are Energy star rated and got me a tax break, where Bristols for 3 times as much were not energy star, even though the agent said he thought they were until after he got the deposit and I followed up with some old customers that I knew on his referall list. The installers started the job in the afternoon after finishing another job and finished the next day. There was some air leaks but I found them all to me in my own trim of the old windows, (this is why new construction windows are better than replacement.) All in all I do not regret my choice, but it being my first time having to replace windows I am more educated if I ever have to do it again. I am very happy with the new windows, the house stays much more controlled than with the old windows.
Description of Work: I had my old windows removed and replacement windows installed. A total of 6 openings and depending on who you talk to 6-10 windows. Pretty simple job.
