The new garage door was a gift from my sister. Edward the salesperson arrived to give me a quote on a new door and opener. Edward took the information, got my preferences "i wanted to replace my current door with an identical door...flat surface. I told him I DID NOT WANT WINDOWS OR PANELS IN THE DOOR AND I THAT I HAD TO HAVE IT INSTALLED WEEK OF JULY 1" He said no problem and send my sister a contract and ordered the door. July 1 door arrives, no installation scheduled. I called him on July 2. To find out that they cannot install the door that week and I would have to have it installed the week of the 14th. Edward stated they don't make commitments about installation when doing placing orders. Then we agree to first thing on July 14 between 8:30 - 10:30 am. They call Friday the 11th to confirm installer will arrive first thing Monday am. At 11:00 am.. I started to call asking where the installer was as I was at work. The installer Nicholas smoked non stop. My garage smelled like a stale bar. He left butts on my garage floor. Told my fiancee' he didnt know why he could not program our vehicles to the door and we needed to take our vehicles to a dealer to have the codes programmed. I called an complained. Then I arrived home. I was able to program the opener by using my manual. The real kicker is.. they installed the wrong door and wont do anything about it. I got an ugly panel garage door on a contemporary house and it looks ridiculous. Now Edward has amnesia and cannot justify why he did not review the order with me before placing it. He had the wrong model door and finish in the order and wont do anything about it. I would never recommend Overhead Door to anyone. Their installation and customer service are a joke. They didn't live up to one of their sales pitches or claims: Edward Argued with me .. the customer! Then he told me my husband changed the selection... two problems.. 1. my fiancee wasn't even part of the conversation until we choose the color of the door. and 2. Edward never reviewed the final order with me prior to placing it like he said he would. and he cant explain why I didnt get a copy of the quote. I believe he intentionally switched doors and sent contract to my sister becuase he knew she was not present. They substituted a cheaper door and now I am stuck with it.. I am not happy and the door is ugly. I will never recommend using Overhead door to anyone.
Description of Work: I used Overhead Door Company's Franchise in Cincinnati. 513-346-4000. Edward was my sales person and Nicholas was the installer.

My garage door got completely bent up. I called thinking I would need a new door. The provider was prompt, and came out quickly even though he was busy. Well my dad thought he could fix the door and has actually started to do so. When the provider came out he started helping my dad and they both got the door fixed. He said normally that would cost 90.00 but he wasn't going to charge me that day since he had help. They were great.
Description of Work: He came and helped fix my garage door.
