  Issue 1: No Formal Contract, Price for work changed.
The Contractor never supplied homeowner with full contract for work. After several requests for formal contractor, homeowner was issued unilateral estimates, which contractor claimed was a "contract". Once the work was performed, contractor charged different amounts than what the original estimate "contract" had quoted. Homeowner received three different receipts for roof costs. When contractor was questioned regarding the difference in the pricing, was told to contact his lawyer.
 Issue 2. Length of time
 Project took over 8 months to have windows and roof replaced. Contractor only had crews replacing windows on the wee-
kends. They were never on time and sometimes didn't show up at all. 
Issue 3. Wrong Windows Ordered
When the windows arrived, the contractor did not bother to ensure they were the correct size and correct jamb widths. Instead the Contractor blamed supplier and refused to take any responsibility.  Nearly 50% of the windows had to be reordered. This resulted in a feud between the Contractor and the Supplier, Pella.  Although Pella did order the windows incorrectly;  they stepped up to fix the situation.
Issue 4. Quality
After the roof was replaced, had water issues caused by contractor failing to reconnect ventilation system in attic.  Contractor did paint (Killz) over water damage.
  
 Some of the windows were not installed properly/professionally. They were uneven and had spaces between the framing. When  the contractor was questioned  regarding the quality of installation, the contractor responded with "it's impossible to please you people". He again refused a face to face meeting to address the issues. We contacted Pella about our installation concerns and they agreed to fix all of our window issues FREE OF CHARGE !
