+ -1 moreContractor did this work in between other jobs in a very timely manner, much quicker than we ever anticipated. (I had hoped to have the work completed by Christmas, and it was completed by Thanksgiving.) We always knew when any workers were due and approximate work time for the day. All were very courteous, punctual, professional, and cleaned up thoroughly each day. The quality of work was wonderful and the basement looks great. We would definitely rehire this company.
Description of Work: After a waterproofing company repaired basement damage by permanent blocking of several windows, tiling and installation of a sump pump, this contractor installed rigid extruded polystyrene insulation, framed a 2 x 4 stud wall, and installed drywall. Flat taping was done where the new dry wall meets the old to avoid problems with the existing ceiling texture. A new circuit and breaker were added for more electrical outlets and new baseboard was installed around the perimeter of the room. In addition, contractor replaced a section of damaged dry wall in the garage, repaired another section of damaged drywall in the garage and also in a bedroom, and completed other lesser household repair jobs .
