Prompt estimate for moving. They called a few days before to confirm the move. 6 moving men arrived earlier than the start time which was alright with us and had our whole house packed up in less than 2 hours! Amazing! They all were courteous, respectful of our belongings and super strong! One of the movers put together my daughters bed and then she decided she wanted the headboard on the other side. I asked the mover if he wouldn't mind switching it around and without even thinking about it said "No problem, that's my job." The whole move took 5 hours. We were amazed. Their actual price came in $200 less than the estimate. Nothing was broken either. Overall, we were very impressed with the movers and will use them again if we need to move again.

We called several companies and their prices were ridiculous. Flat rate stuck to their bid, were here on time and were done in less than an hour.

Movers got about business right away and worked through the day with only minimal breaks. Friendly. There was lots of communication with calls prior to moving day as well as follow up. Only one item was damaged (wooden seat back chipped) and Flat Rate is going to have it repaired at their cost.

These guys rocked! They really worked hard and fast. A real friendly crew. The lead was a very good communicator and worked very well with me and my wife on move-out and move-in. Great price. Great crew. I highly recommend them for any local move.

Flat Rate Movers did an excellent job moving us from our old home and storage unit to our new home, about 8.5 miles away. They came out ahead of time to both places to get a look at what the job would be. The were at the old house right on time, came right in and got to work. We left to finish the closing on our new home, and when done we called them, and they were at the storage unit; we'd given them the codes and key to gain access. They were almost done there, so we waited for them at the new house. We'd done a pretty good job of labeling boxes, and were able to direct the 3 guys as to where to put different items. My only complaints would be one small "ding" on professionalism when one of the movers (not the leader) said "boy, you guys have a lot of stuff" and rolled his eyes. To me it's not his business how much we have, it's just his job to move it. My other complaint is that after the preliminary thorough look at the job, we still had to pay hourly instead of a set price for the job. They didn't dawdle at all, even refused a glass of water or a bathroom break, but it seems to me that they should be able to quote a "job" price instead of an hourly one. I would definitely recommend Flat Rate Movers.

From my initial communication with Lucy in the office, through the team of 6 movers, Flat Rate were exceptional to work with for our move. The guys were quick, efficient, courteous and carefully engaged in the moving process. We will use them again in the near future to move the remainder of our furniture. A+ rating.

My experience with Flat Rate Movers LLC was exceptional. They were very polite and efficient. Handled my washer and dryer with care. Well worth the money. The only reason the move was that price was because we were moving from military housing and had to get them on base and that took an hour.

Arrived at 7am. Guys knew tasks at hand and worked til trucks were loaded. Highly recommend asking for more people so the job goes quicker. We have moved a number of times and process is always stressful and long. This time was just awesome!

Excellent. The movers were fast, efficient and very careful with our possessions. They communicated with us about everything - asking what we wanted to move and what we didn't, what we wanted wrapped, pointing out defects. They were polite, professional and nice.
