Description of Work: They removed 20-25 Ponderosa Pines, most of which were 50-60'tall, and ground up the trunks. |We had a verbal agreement for the price to be near $2000, but the final total was $800 higher. That could be because I asked the workers to remove two more trees that the owner and I had not talked about. |They did a great job; workers were efficient, pleasant, and cleaned up the area afterwards. I would recommend them and will probably use them again. |And, I will definitely get a written estimate.

+ -1 moreMike Bodfield is an arborist and cares about my trees as much as I do. He went over everything that the crew would do to make sure the result was what I wanted. He explained why the trimming was necessary, what the trees would look like afterward, and how the new growth in the spring would be healthier with the pruning. The aftermath was a bit shocking because the trees had not been pruned in many years, but the trimming was done in the fall and this spring the trees and shrubs look fabulous! Mike gave advice about appropriate planting for the area and my particular yard, and shared his experiences with particular species. We are moving at the end of the summer to an acreage and will have Mike trim and clear the whole area, as well as clear the pond of overgrowth and fallen trees. I have hired him to plan landscaping and plant trees and provide mulch.
Description of Work: New Heights trimmed all mature trees and shrubs, at least 23 trees and a dozen shrubs, for the health of the plants as well as the prevention of contact with the buildings, ground, etc. They removed two dying trees, three stumps and accompanying roots.

+ -1 moreI was referred to Mike by a co-worker of mine. Mike treated me very fairly and his workers were great. The guys worked pretty quickly and cleaned up our yard so it looked like nobody had been there. The trees looked great and they even trimmed a few extra trees after asking if it was okay to do so. I was very happy with my experience!
