At first went good had a quote done for some work and due to the flooding it got backed up months to no fault of their own. When they came in the first time they started tearing out and found mold and stopped work which was fine. So we had to reschedule and it got put off again for a while and we had a scheduled date to come back in to have them restud and drywall. I talked to chuck in person and told him we have questions in regards to price and he said we would work with the insurance payment and would do what he can within budget. Me my wife and chuck was there for that conversation. I made numerous email attempts to talk to someone about dates they would be in to start. Hardly communicated back to me after I had to send numerous emails before I got a response. And then I would have to wait for his sister to talk to chuck and then respond back. So the day they come back to do my drywall they send two guys in to drywall and my thought was to stud the walls and drywall but to my surprise chuck called me asking about why we didn’t stud the wall when me and chuck had a couple different talks about him having to stud the walls and drywall. So the guys they had come put up the studs but didn’t finish that day and I figured they would come til it’s done but they double booked my time slot. So they pushed me off for a couple weeks to get them to come and finish the job. So they come back and finish drywall and left. Then it took chuck 5 half days to finish taping and texturing and completing the job. He then finished and didn’t have a walk through with us to go over the job and when I went down to see the job I noticed some of the drywall was crooked at the beginning of the room when you leave the basement. I didn’t call or complain because I was over it because it took to long and wasn’t going to deal with them coming back in. So I get a bill in my email and it has ballooned up 1600 dollars above what I had a check to pay for the work granted the first quote wasn’t up to what they actually all did. Which i can understand but I warned chuck that I didn’t have much money to go over the check from Insurance he said that’s fine and we would work with it. Then I email and ask for an invoice numerous times of work hours per person that was here and supplies and the response I get is that they don’t do break downs for that kind of invoice. All they do is send a price and a quick description. We played email tag for weeks me asking for proof they did this much work broken down to jobs and supplies but I got denied every time and then chuck said he doesn’t recall working with me about price. So here I sit with a 1600 bill being threatened with being sent to collections if I didn’t make a payment. I will never ever do business with this company ever and the only reason I did use them was because my wife is friends with one of the sisters so we thought that it would be done professionally. I will make sure anyone that needs these kinds of services goes to other businesses. No professionalism and willingness to work with customers. Surprised this business stays in business.

They took great care to put paper rolls and poly tarp everywhere to cover the floors, furniture, coutertops and any exposed areas. The contractor stayed in contact on site and by phone throughout the job. It was done in a matter of a few days and because I was going to bring more work his way, he discounted the extra patches. The ceiling looks brand new. The living room, dining room and half of the kitchen are all opened up so that you can see most of the ceiling at once. My husband was entirely impressed and that's saying a great deal!
Description of Work: Cut out 6'x4' falling sheetrock (water damage) from living room ceiling. Installed replacement installation, put in new 1/2" sheetrock. Cut out '6x2' seamed buckle in kitchen revealing 2'x6' beam laying on top of sheetrock. Installed to joists and installed some kind of extra support and sheetrocked. Repaired a ceiling patch in hallway that was splitting, and a vertical seam. Textured with a tap and scrape method, came back after well dried, and sanded the entire ceilings and walls, and then primed and painted for a perfectly beautful finish. it could not look better if the house were freshly built.
