The provider was referred to me and I had no previous knowledge ofhis work. My home had been diagnosed with street creep and I was told by a foundation specialist that I needed to get another expansion joint in my driveway. Since the top 2 squares were broken, I decided to find someone who would replace the top squares and put adequate expansion joints in since the concrete was broken anyway. The provider was called and came out in June and said that he could not get to it until 4-5 weeks. By the second week in July, I noticed that my garage foundation was cracking in multiple places.I called Mr Speckmann and asked him to come over and saw through the driveway. The street slabs were overlapping in front of my house. Mr Speckmann looked at the garage foundation and said that there were not any more cracks than he had seen the last time. The weather was 105 everyday. He went downstairs and looked at the basement foundation and said, You're basement foundation is not going anywhere. Call me if you get any more new cracks in the foundation. The next week the basement foundation cracked 1/2 way down the length of the wall in 5 places. He finally came over and sawed thru the driveway when I called him again. He poured the cement in Sept. and the squares were higher than the rest of the driveway. I had him out to the house twice before he said it was their fault but he was not going to redo the top squares, he would redo 2 feet of the next squares down. He did that and redid 2 squares of the sidewalk that were broken. In the winter all of the neighborhood driveways top driveway squares raise up. Because the 2 foot sections were so small, the snow plow broke one of the small squares. Now that it is spring the squares have lowered back to normal but Mr. Speckmann said it is not his fault. Now it is May and the sprinkler man turned on my sprinklers and the sprinkler line is broken right on the side of the 2 new sidewalk squares where the cement frame got pounded into the ground. It is well over $110.00 to fix and Mr Speckmannn said he did not do it. I can not find my receipt for the cement and asked Mr Speckmann for a copy to submit to the city for help with street creep repairs. Mr Speckmann said he would give me a copy since I can't find mine but now he says "No" If you want more headaches than you had, use this company. If you like to fight and be aggressive with no satisfaction, use this company. And I think my driveway looks funny with those small squares in the middle of the big squares.
Description of Work: The provider replaced the 3 top squares of cement in the driveway next to the garage.

They did not get a permit from the city to cut into the street. They charged over twice what it should have cost. The replacement cracked within one year and now, 5 yrs. later, is crumbling away.
Description of Work: Driveway approach was removed and repoured.

The work that was done looked fantastic. It blended right in and I was very pleased. I also felt better because I knew that no one would fall and hurt themselves. I thought that they were friendly, on time, and very courteous. They made sure to answer my questions and tried their best to keep the prices fair. I would recommend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: There were a couple of sinking pieces of sidewalk on the side of our home that were becoming hazardous. We had them remove the damaged cement blocks and replaced them with new concrete.
