Tom was very thorough, upfront, and honest. He was the only engineer to even call me back. He said many of them are too busy to take residential jobs, but that is no reason to not call back. We are very thankful for his services and recommend him for anyone with foundation issues.

Received his name from a family member. We scheduled an appointment and he never showed for estimate. When we called, he said he forgot to put down the appointment. We rescheduled for the next day and again he never showed or called. We were very disappointed not to get a call to cancel or explain the no-show. We went with another company.

Tom Jizba provided an outstanding analysis of the condition, taking into consideration all factors contributing to a structural foundation problem on an older home. His analysis identified factors that, had I proceeded with the first estimate to repair, would have provided an incomplete solution (not addressing surface drainage contributing to the problem). By taking the time to assess the situation properly, I feel very confident that future estimates will fully address the work needed to correct a worsening problem. I cannot recommend Atlas Engineering enough. The services are of the highest quality and worth every penny. I would recommend Tom Jizba to anyone seeking expert, professional engineering advice. He is also a wonderful person to work with (honest, straightforward, and most professional). I have the peace of mind in knowing that the work needed will be done once (vs. cheaper solutions that don't address the full extent of a complex structural problem with multiple, contributing factors). I DEFINITELY received great value for the price.
