 + 0 moreFrom my first meeting with Linda Resser to choose carpeting, to Steve Resser taking measurements, I was really impressed. Scott, who did the work, is a true professional, very conscientious. He takes his time to ensure all is accomplished perfectly. The end result was outstanding! I strongly recommend Steve's flooring and Scott for the excellent job he did.
Description of Work: Stretched carpet in one bedroom and layed new carpet in family room, 2 hallways and stairs.

 + -1 morePerfectly: Steve met with us and took measurements for the areas we wanted covered with wood flooring and carpeting. We met his wife, Linda, at their store front in Bellevue and looked at samples that she had selected for us that met our desires for quality, style and price. Linda prepared the quote that was acceptable to us and ask for a 50% deposit. Steve's Floor Covering has been in business in Bellevue for 25 years so we had no qualms with the deposit. We provided a desired timeframe for installation and Steve accepted. Work commenced on time, and proceeded as scheduled. I provided a number of suggestions during the process and Steve met all our desires. We are completely satisfied with the finished product, would gladly use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Description of Work: Steve repaired a place where our vinyl flooring had worn through. He cut out a section and replaced it with a piece that we had saved when the floor was originally installed and it looks like new again. He really did a great job.

Description of Work: My kitchen floor was damaged due to a flooded dishwasher. Steve removed old laminate flooring, repaired a portion of the sub-floor which was damaged, and laid new laminate flooring. He is very professional, did a wonderful job, and I definitely will use his services again.

Description of Work: Stopped by, on time, gave an estimate, and scheduled a time to stretch our carpet. Showed up, on time, quickly and professionally stretched the carpet, cleaned up nicely, charged exactly what the estimate was, gave us some contact names for some other work we asked about, and left on time. We are very pleased. Great job. Looks really good. And a very reasonable price.

 + -1 moreIt all went very well. Steve arrived on time and worked very quickly finishing the job, which included 4 rooms, in about 3 hours. He was very professional and knew exactly what was needed to complete the work. I would readily hire Steve again for any flooring work and would highly recommend him to anybody else contemplating such work.
Description of Work: We hired Steve to stretch our carpet based on known reputation and a recommendation by a friend. I then checked Angie's list and found he had great reviews. When he came to see the job, he showed a considerable knowledge of what was needed and made us comfortable that he could do the job very well. We wanted Steve to stretch the wrinkles out of our carpet that was almost seven years old since installation and was in pretty loose shape. He had told us that the furniture would not be a problem if we just removed the small stuff.. He was right. He was able to complete the job easily by moving the large, remaining heavy furniture around, which even included moving a piano, to allow him to do what he needed to get to all areas. I thought he would just be stretching the carpet in whatever direction was needed to pull the wrinkles out but he ended up stretching the carpet in all directions wherever he was able to get to the edge. He picked up the scrapes and most of the loose threads and such. All that remained was a quick vacuuming to achieve a completed job that we are very pleased with.

 + -1 moreI wasn't sure how it would work to install "used" carpeting but Steve made it look brand new. This wasn't a big ticket job for Steve, but he handled it with such pleasant professionalism that I'm going to have him install bamboo flooring throughout the rest of my house.
Description of Work: My aunt was replacing some carpeting in her home that was barely worn so she offered to let me use that carpeting for a couple of bedrooms in my house.

 + -1 moreWhat a pleasure. We bought the carpeting and tile from Steve's at a competitive price and agreed upon an installation date. Installer showed up on time each day and completed the job on time. Material and installation quality was outstanding, and a couple of very minor discrepanices were corrected immediately. Steve followed up soon after install was complete to ensure our total satisfaction before the final payment. These people are a pleasure to work with, courteous, professional, and most of all, they do outstanding work with top quality materials at a fair price. We are so glad that we decided to go with a smaller business instead of one of the big carpet distributors who hire other private contractors to do the work. If you are a interested in the highest quality flooring job with people who are reliable, responsive, and concerned with your satisfaction, look no further than Steve's.
