Description of Work: He came on time, did what he was supposed to do and left some free-bees to help keep the computer well. I did not notice a lot of change (still had problems) and eventually had the computer software re-built.

Description of Work: our computer was running slow and kept shutting off. Dave figured out it was a faulty USB port from our remote connection. He ran several checks and updated safety software for our Internet. He also gave me suggestions on how to keep computer ruuningquickly

+ -1 moreWhat a GREAT experience! When I first called Dave he gave me a few things to do so I could try to fix it myself. I ended up calling him 3 times, getting more advice in an attempt to fix it. It finally got to a point above my computer skills and I had to bring it to him. He fixed everything within 24hrs, then came over and showed me the different programs he loaded to help prevent future problems. He even sat with me and showed me how to use them. EXCELLENT service! I will definitely use him again if needed.
Description of Work: My laptop would not boot up at all. As it turns out, my OS was corrupted and I had a virus as well.

Description of Work: I have an older PC that suddenly lost the ability to even boot up into Windows. I found Dave in the yellow pages, noting his BBB membership and the fact that he does house calls.We set up an appointment for the next day. He was prompt and pleasant, and was able to revive my machine. He spent approximately two hours, and although he charges $70/hr, only charged $105. There was no trip charge. After he left, I defragged my machine as he recommended, and began noticing some problems with internet pages timing out. I called him back and he returned a couple of days later. He changed a couple of settings, ran a thorough diagnostic, and fixed the problem for no additional charge. You can't beat that.
