This repair firm fixed two of our cars, and one worked fine, while the othe did not. They did, however, require payment for all service work and never did repair the second car. They also agreed to repair my tractor, but I had to wait a month until they could get to it. They promised to fix it within a week, but it took over a month for them to get to it. The repairman didn't set the clutch adjustment correctly, and I had to show him the correct method from the service manual. When I received the repaired tractor, it still wasn't adjusted properly. They also offered to sell me a used bucket for the loader and took my old bucket to see if the bucket they had needed to be modified. They kept my old bucket and never gave me the modified bucket which I had already repaired after promising to have it done over a period of more than six months. They kept both buckets, and now I cannot use my tractor loader.

I told Mr. Fitzwater that I couldn't pay more than $1200 for the tractor clutch repair. So he agreed to trade for some of my farm implements. He also brought along a bucket that he said would fit my tractor front end loader, for which he wanted $45, I told him my price for my tractor rake was $250, but that I would trade it for his bucket if it would fit. He also wanted some of my other equipment, including a 1985 Ford pickup, and excellent grain drill, and a tractor planter, to be traded for some work around the farm and the difference in the tractor repair. He took the old bucket from my front end loader with him to make sure that the two buckets are compatible. His helper agreed to cut down some trees, and one large cottonwood tree fell on the roof of my machine shed, causing considerable damage. He took all of the equipment that was agreed upon, but didn't finish the farm work. When Mr. Fitzwater fixed my tractor and returned it, he said that it was between me and his helper about the equipment. However, he would modify his front end loader bucket and make it compatible with my old one and then return them to me in a week. I called him every two weeks about getting my buckets back, but he always said that he was too busy. Two months went by, and then he stopped answering my phone calls. So I saw a lawyer who advised me to file in Small Claims Court, which I did, asking for return of the buckets plus $2,000 for repair to the roof of my machine shed. No response from him, so I filed my claim. We went to trial some four months after I had given hime my bucket, and my farm work wasn't all getting done. In the trial, Mr. Fitzwater and his helper denied everything, and I lost the case after Mr. Fitzwater and his helper told quite different stories. Now I can't use my tractor to do the work I need to do. I have to pay for the machine shed roof repair, and my roof is leaking heavily during severe thunderstorms. Mr. Fitzwater does not answer my phone calls or messages. A shocking and disgusting experience I will never forget.

Job estimate was one week, and it took over three weeks to complete. Damaged underbody of tractor during repair and charged me $90 to fix it. Agreed to trade service for some implements and reneged on agreement. His helper removed some implements from my property without my permission and didn;t return them and stole some of my hand tools.
