I ended up having to call them to do it again because the first job was terribly done. The carpets were left soaked instead of the moisture extraction that should have been the last step. The second time around was better, but I did receive a call from the worker to discuss why he was coming back. He tried to imply that my carpets were too dirty and they weren't going to come clean anyway. In the end, it worked out, so hopefully I just had a bad crew the first time.

They arrived around 3PM and were gone by 4PM. They told us hey were going to bring dehumidifiers and did not. They put fhe furniture on styrofoam and then seemingly proceeded to extract the water. That process took about 20 minutes. They put 3 floor fans in and said they would bring a couple of humidifiers (they never brought the humidifiers). The next morning when I went down there, it was easy to see that they did not extract much of anything. I called them to come back and finish the job as the bedroom and closets were still soaked with water. They came back and spen another 20 minutes down there, then sent us a bill for over $800 after quoting us $575. When I refused to pay the bill, they sent someone down with a meter to detect how much water was still down there. The meter measured anywhere from 61% to 100% over the entire basement. They said they would bring down some floor fans at no charge. That did not happen. I spent the next 3 days witha a small home carpet cleaning machine sucking up the water they did not touch. I took 3 buckets of water out of the bedroom closet alone. After many conversations with the owner, he sent us another bill for $526. Our insurance company paid for it, but I would not have. I would not ever use K&S Carpet Cleaners for anything again.
