Elite Property Inspection

These guys are not professionals. The license they carry must of came out if a crackerjack box. They were recommended by my realtor because I was not familiar with any other inspection companies in the area. They performed a home inspection on the house I wanted to buy and did not find anything more then basic wear for a 12 yr old home. Using their "expert" knowledge of construction I assumed they knew what they were doing. I moved ahead and purchased the home and 2 weeks later I find the attic was full of mold, the roof had leaks, the roof was missing shingles and the vents were not installed properly. Then I found out that the bathroom tub had a crack that leaks into the floor below, the drains under sinks leaked, and that the home electrical service was not properly grounded. I called to ask why they missed everything and they didn't call me back. They did a ****** inspection that has ended up costing me $35,000. I know I can't be the only person in this town that this ****** *** company has failed.

They were thurough, efficient and personable.

It felt like I had a family member come and do the inspection. He was so polite and really looked things over. First time home buyer at 21 and had A LOT of questions for him. He was very happy to answer them all and go into detail of when, why, how, where, and who. He was great! He said I didnt need to be there during the whole inspection (since I work during the day) and suggested I come about an hour and a half in to the inspection. That way, he had time to look over what he needed to and then he could just walk me through what he found. He also did say I could come and go through the whole inspection with him as well. Even said to call him if I need anything as he is a general contractor as well.

Mark Weber was great. He is great at his job and looked all around the house we are going to buy. He did a great job and pointed out things we don't notice as first time home buyers. I think what I liked the most about him was his personality. He was so helpful and answered all of our questions and offered some solutions he thought might be viable. Someone like that is great to have around during a time that is so full of questions. He went the extra mile and looked at some things we had questions about that he didn't necessarily have to answer or help us with. I was really pleased with him.

Mark did a great job....on time, professional, extremely thorough, and his detailed report was emailed before he said he'd get it to us. Doesn't get any better than Mark - if you need this service, you can't go wrong here & won't be disappointed!

Mark was excellent! He provided a 52 page report via email the very next morning! The home inspection was at 3pm, so I thought this was very fast! He has excellent rates and even drove from Minot to Harvey and only charged $30 for gas/mileage. I thought this was very fair and he was very thorough. I would highly recommend his services. He took pictures and included them in his report, and went above and beyond to take pictures of other things (not necessarily broken things- i.e. where the water shut off valves were located) that he thought we should be aware of. He also included a sheet with approximate prices of the things that needed to be fixed, which made it easy for us to draw up an addendum to our purchase agreement. It was very convenient!

Mark Weber did an inspection on my son and daughter in-law's newly built home since I couldn't be there. (live in Maryland) I found Elite Property Inspection through Angie's list and called him; just talking to him on the phone made me feel better. Mark was able to meet my son's tight schedule and after the inspection provided pictures to go along with a detailed report so I could see the items on-line. The builder corrected most of the items on the list before or as they moved in. (some are weather dependent and will have to wait until the Spring.) I felt at ease knowing that Mark was there when I couldn’t be and confident that he had done a great inspection. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to family and friends as would my son!

I contacted Mark to get a quote - he was very responsive, told me exactly how much it would be, which was less than any other quote I'd received. He was able to get me an appointment within a week of my call (impressive considering how busy the area is up here in terms of homes). His job was extremely thorough - provided a 60 page report on the same day of the inspection. Very flexible with payment as well. Overall very happy with the service provided.
