Deck work was completed. We were there numerous times to do drywall, only had to wait multiple times for insurance adjusters and for the roofers before moving forward. We did tear out insulation and drywall. Job was extended due to the client having family visit. When client was ready, we had other work in progress. So when client called us, he said that he seen that we were on Angie's List. He then started to complain about what was stated on Angie's List. For which that was the first time we heard that we were on Angie's List. That review was false and was settled in court, they posted review 8 months later for which we have contacted the courts and were informed that they had opened a defamation of business case with that review. This client gave us a picture and a bonus for the work done on his deck and playhouse after completing the work. He then called and wanted his picture back and the bonus money plus more money back. So to resolve this issue, we gave him what he wanted back in full. So therefore we feel these reviews that we have on Angie's List are wrong. They make business's look bad even though the situation has already been resolved in a civil manner. This client waits 2 months to post a bad review, when it was resolved in full for what they were asking for. We left with no bad terms from my understanding. Do not understand why this review was posted to hurt my business when we agreed that the situation was resolved and gave back all that you asked for. We feel as a business that Angie's List should do more research before allowing consumers to rate business's, when not knowing the whole situation between the consumer and the business. Very wrong.

Horrible. Work was terrible, didn't show up, very slow, left early when he did show up. the work was so bad we had to have alot of it redone. They took us to court for firing him and not letting him resolve the issues. We won the court case and were awarded damages.
Description of Work: He was hired to do some flooring both tile and laminate, paint, install vanity and some general handyman services.

This situation was resolved in court. This should have not been posted it was settled in court last December. Everything was settled with the judge, don't understand why this person would want to open up a can of worms that won't end well. We have done what the judge ordered to do. Would consider this defimation of charrater, because it was already resolved last year. Why would this person want to continue making a problem when it will not end very well
