+ -1 moreThe job is still incomplete. Concrete Cowboys was paid $20,000 to start, $20,000 after rafters, and by contract was to get paid $18,500 upon completion. We paid $15,000 of the $18500 because we knew him, thought we could trust him. Wrong!!! Numerous attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. Better Business Bureau tried some mediation with no luck. The owner, Ben Hunt, told us to take the $3000 or so left on the contract and hire someone else to it. That's not what was in the contract! Hunt wants to say we kept his trailer, but he left it here and it was always there to be picked up. He never contacted us about it. He could've picked it up at any time. Guessing he didn't want to because he didn't want to face the music about his incomplete job.
Description of Work: Contracted to put up a shop building with a tower. 11,700 square foot shop with a 12x12 office tower with a 34 foot to eave. Including grading the gravel, setting poles, setting rafters, and tinning the exterior and all trim. Also included installation of two 24x16 overhead doors and 3 walk in doors.
