Description of Work: I was concerned about a report of mold on the wires in the electrical panel of a home I am under contract to purchase. I called Ted and he was kind enough to give me a free phone consultation about the issue. He is an expert, and informed me that it was not mold on the copper wires, and presented his theory on the cause of the issue. I was very relieved. Thank you Ted!

Description of Work: Ted did some work for us about 6 months ago and I contacted him again last week to help us work through another issue. As always Ted was very responsive and professional. The best thing about Ted is when you have a problem he feels like it's his problem and will do what ever it takes to get it resolved. He treats your home and issue like it's his. Also, the best thing about Ted is after his work is completed you never know he was there....everything is cleaned up and put back together.

Description of Work: I called Ted because we moved into a home that had a "Musty" smell and I was concerned that we had Mold. He did a thorough inspection and found that there were many areas in the home where there were small openings into wall spaces...for example...where my air handler pipes and vents penetrated the dry wall. Also some areas were not caulked....bottom line, musty air from wall spaces was seeping into my home. Ted said he could do a thorough inspection of inside and outside and prepare a detailed report. He did the inspection. We have a large home and the cost was $425. I was amazed at the detail and at the things he found that could be a potential problem for us....example, some roof issues that were minor now that if not taken care of could be major, some areas outside at foundation where moisture was a problem. He does not do the work so there is not a conflict. I got my handy man to correct all of the issues and on the inside the air is so much fresher and on the outside I feel we prevented lots of problems. I only wish I had known about him to do an inspection before we bought the house. I highly recommend him for anyone buying a home and for investigation of unusual odors. He is a very nice man...professional and thorough.
