Description of Work: We placed great faith in Dick Moen and he did not disappoint us. We trusted him enough to give him a key to our home! We had an advantage because we had no deadline so he was willing to work us in around other jobs. For that reason, and because his services are generally very affordable, we spent just a fraction of the original quote we received to refinish the basement.

+ 0 moreThe positive thing about this project for him and us may have been that we were not in a mad dash hurry so he was able to fit this work in here and there as he did other, bigger projects. I think that is one reason the prices were very reasonable. I can see that this style of business would not work for some personality types but it was great for us. He is a good person and a knowledgeable builder/contractor. He may consider many other kinds of projects so give him a call for an estimate.
Description of Work: We hired this contractor to do some dry wall work in the partially finished basement and the project kept expanding from there. Ultimately he practically did the entire basement - one bit at a time and we negotiated the price of each project as we went. Dick is skilled and fair.
