It went very well. On time, very polite and friendly, did very professional work. The plumbers do a good job; the trouble with this company is their billing. The bill for this was just over $300, with $42 of that for mileage, and 3.5 hours of labor, which was generous. Last September they did another job for me, installing a new shower head and a sink and faucet, again doing an excellent job. On that date, they charged me for just over $300 too. In fact, it was within 27 cents of my second, most recent bill. The September job was also listed as 3.5 hours of labor, and $44 for mileage. On neither occasion did I check the clock when he arrived and left, but 3.5 hours seems a stretch on both of them. Good work, doubtful billing.

First of all they told me it would take 3 hours TOPS. I scheduled the repair and explained EVERYTHING. I said I had copper pipe so they could bring the proper equipment and tools. When the guy got here he had forgot copper pipe. He arrived at 10am and left right away back to town for copper pipe, he returned an hour later and did the job and left by 2pm. I was charged from the 1st time he came out and forgot his equipment until he left at 2pm. That is 4 hours, one of which he did nothing and it isn't my fault he forgot things and wasn't prepared to do the job I clearly explained in detail to his service scheduler. I called and told them about it but all they were worried about was getting their bill paid. They totally dismissed the fact that he had forgotten his equipment 5 miles back into town and charged me for him forgetting how to do his job. When I got the bill it had no explanation as to what was cost of labor differentiated from cost of materials. The service guy left a 5 foot length of copper here too that I probably had to pay for. Since he didn't do any work for an hour and left materials I suspect this is why there is nothing to explain the bill except "SM8988 INV-Plumbing 10/16/2013 $344.49" That is the only thing describing the work done that day. The work done is holding up and is fine but I don't appreciate how they handle their customers, lie to them, then don't give a rat's behind how their worker handled the job when called and told about it. I will never call them again for anything even if they are the last professional on earth. I would rather do it myself and screw it up. I don't like being robbed.
Description of Work: Installed plumbing in my basement because the line beyond the meter had a pinhole leak. I bought a new meter at the same time so I upgraded and they installed it.
