Description of Work: 2 separate jobs |1. Sprayed lawn for weeds & to fertilize- That went well except that they didn't get to us until pretty late in the season. I realize they have weather to contend with and other customers, but it seemed like too long to wait. |2. Yard clean up- That seemed pretty minimal- I probably won't do that part again

+ -1 moreCompany came to aerate lawn next door to me. My neighbor advised not to go on my lawn as I had buried wires. My neighbor asked to call 1st before doing and they did not. Service rep came and did job and did cut up my wires. Owner Dave Piepkorn would not help in any way other than was bullying and rude to my neighbor and me. My cost was over $200.00 to replace the wires. He insisted it was our fault. No customer service with that company.
Description of Work: This company owned then by Dave Piepkorn did not stand behind their reputation. My neighbor used their services and when they came they cut my wires with their aerator machine. They were told about the wires in advance by my neighbor and were told to call first. However: technician came out and aerated past their lawn and onto mine and cut the wires. Customer service was bad Dave was rude to me and my neighbor. Very intimidating and would think his employees would say anything to keep their jobs It cost me over $200.00 to replace wires and also very inconvenient. No compensation from Tru Green except rude words

+ -1 moreI've used TruGreen for my personal property and rental unit. Both properties never have any weeds or dandelions. At my rental, you can see exactly on the property line where they've sprayed and the neighbors haven't because they have weeds. But I still have a few dead spots in my lawn that haven't grown back yet. I was hoping it would help with that but hasn't yet.
Description of Work: Sprayed chemical fertilizer / weed killer on lawn.

+ 0 moreA little late due to weather but the lawn speaks for itself being green and weed free.
Description of Work: I called for an appointment and it took them a few weeks to get to my house due to rain or too windy, but after they showed up and sprayed my lawn with fertilizer and weed control my lawn hasn't looked better and i am very pleased with their service. Its just i will call sooner next time for my services.

+ 1 moreWe started with them because my husband knew someone that worked there. They have been great. We had a pretty significant weed problem when we bought our house 5 years ago and they have taken care of all of that. Then, the city replaced our sidewalks last year and the fill they put in was horrible and we got a lot of crabgrass from that and the person that does our lawn actually stopped by and was inspecting all the lawns that he handles and noticed that. He then came out within a couple of days and did a couple of free treatments to take care of all of that for us. I have been using them for 5 years. They probably did the fall treatment in September 2011. I would use them again.
Description of Work: We used TruGreen to take care of our yard. They treated our lawn with fertilizers, weed protection, and aeration.
