+ -1 moreWe have a large closet space by our back door which was used for coats, shoes, and storage. It was not very functional, so we had Smart Spaces install a bench and upper and lower shelving. It looks so nice and is much more usable space now.
Description of Work: Installed a bench and shelving in the space that used to be a closet.

+ -1 moreEverything went well from start to finish. We are now ordering a second, very large, closet makeover.
Description of Work: Amanda came to our house, worked in detail with us to design a closet that made the most out of a small space, and followed up to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. She was very easy to plan with because she has a lot of experience and can look at a space and show you (on her laptop computer in 3-D) how various ideas would play out.

+ -1 moreOur experience with Smart Spaces didn't go very well and it was very unpleasant. They came in, did the measurements, and ordered the materials. When they came in to put all the closets in, they didn't have all the materials so the closets were half finished. Then they didn't let us know that they had finished the closets. They didn't get back to us for two weeks to let us know that they didn't have the materials and then when they finally got the materials and came back to finish, they still didn't have the materials to finish the closets. They had to come back a second time so that was a couple of weeks after that even so it took six to seven weeks to get all of our closets finished and useful again. They were going to credit us on our billing, but they never really gave us any credit. We didn't get billed for another couple of months. We were really unimpressed with the communication that they gave us on the project and just the time that it took them to come and put all the closets in and be done. We were really unimpressed with their professionalism.
Description of Work: Smart Spaces did some closets in our bedroom and in our pantry.
