Signature Landscapes

I contacted the company to request a design for my front and back yards for my older home. My plan was to have the company create an overall design to integrate some of my existing landscaping into a new plan. The job was to be a mix between us doing the work and the contractor doing some of the work. When I contacted the company towards the end of March, I was told there were a couple of projects ahead of mine. It may take about a month to get to mine. I was OK with that and just asked that I be kept informed. Someone came a few days later to look at the project. He said he would be back to do measurements, but there were about 7 people ahead of me and it would take about a month or so to get to ours. I said that was OK. For the first phase, I just wanted to get a plan then move from there. After waiting several weeks, I contact the company to get an update. I was told once again there were a few projects that were ahead of me and if I needed things right now, they could not do it. I said I could wait a few weeks and just asked that they keep me informed as I was able to take care of a few smaller projects in the interim. it is not 3 1/2 months later and no one has contacted me to provide any updates. I can not comment on the quality of their work. My review is only to point out the poor communications and lack of responsiveness. No work was performed, they never came back to measure anything and all communications was started on my side of things. My advice to anyone looking to hire the company is if you are told there will be a wait, expect a long one and do not expect any type of follow-up to your requests. I also got the impression that my project was "too small" and they tended to concentrate on the new homes being constructed. Waiting so long was my mistake. If you are told there are others in front of you, take notice of that and do not wait.

The house had rocks around it and it had sunk so they pulled out the landscape material and the rocks and filled it with dirt and put the rocks back. They planted a couple of trees and they removed a big tree. I thought they were excellent.

Their responsiveness was very low because my husband would call and we wouldn't hear back for two weeks. Their professionalism was high.

We got a quote, they were very professional, came over and talked about what they were trying to do, said that they would provide a quote in writing and did so. We haven't moved forward yet. The pricing seemed reasonable. I don't have a report on their work yet, but as far as quoting and doing what they said the would do, it went well. Their professionalism and timeliness. It's hard to get people in this area to give you quotes or do anything, they are just so busy. Their quality work aside, they say they are going to do something and they either don't send it back or if they do they can't do it for weeks or I don't know when they can get this done. Their responsiveness was very good and I find that not to be the case with other people I have worked with. What stood out was their professionalism. That isn't that common necessarily. A lot of them showed up, not appropriately dressed or just didn't care for themselves very well. It was quite obvious this was very much the exception.

It was a great experience but I think that we are just going to remodel our kitchen instead of pushing through with project.

.He is a great guy who is very knowledgeable. If someone wants to start a business they should take lessons from this guy. I can't say enough nice things about this company. They are one of the most professional businesses I have ever dealt with.
