Joan was referred to me by our next door neighbor. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable, hard working, pleasant, and easy to work with. She did our fall clean up last year, and when she moved to Natural Environments this spring, we contracted with her again. Joan communicates well. For example, she called to let me know in advance the day she would be coming. And when she was unable to return as scheduled to complete the spring clean up due to a serious injury, she let me know about it and told me when she would be back again. She returned even earlier than I had expected. Our home needed new plants along the foundation on two sides of the house. Joan asked me what I had in mind and made suggestions as to what would grow well in those areas. We communicated by email. Then she emailed pictures to me of the plants we were considering along with descriptions of them. And to make sure I would be satisfied with the choices we made, she brought out multiples of all three of the varieties we were considering so that I could see what they looked like against the foundation in order to make a final decision. After she did the foundation plantings and I went out to see what they looked like, we realized there was one area that needed another plant to fill it in. Joan made a couple of recommendations, I made my choice, and she brought it out and planted it the next day. Joan's work was thorough and complete. She gave me the instructions I needed on how to care for these new plants in the important first few weeks. They look lovely and add so much to the appeal of our home landscape. I recommend Joan highly.
