+ -1 moreI received a great quote to do the work and used them because of good reviews. The work took them way longer than they thought. They broke a light and didn't clean it up well. It went in my dogs food and was a mess for me to deal with. Plus they did even tell us they did it. The unit works great, but they didn't clean up well after the work was done. I had to do the majority of the clean up. I would not recommend because of this.
Description of Work: They replaced my furnace and did duct work upgrades.

+ 0 moreNot only was J & J able to take care of my furnace replacement and chimney in one stop -- their estimate was less than the 4 others quoted me for replacing the furnace only (no chimney work). Wow!! J & J were always friendly and had the job done within a week of our contact to accept their estimate. When the Moorhead City inspector arrived afterward to sign off on the furnace, he said he recognized their work and liked coming to inspect it. He said he never has problems with J & J. We were thrilled. I recommend them to everyone.
Description of Work: We attempted to obtain estimates from 6 Angie's List recommended HVAC providers. Only 5 out of 6 returned our calls. J & J was one of the most responsive in returning our calls and arriving for an estimate just a couple days later. They were professional and knowledgable. In addition to replacing our Heating Oil furnace with a High Efficiency Gas Furnance, we also needed some chimney repair. The masonry was crumbling and I expected to have new brickwork. Instead, J & J was able to take care of everything in one visit! They cut the chimney below the roofline and capped it. The venting is now heavy-duty PVC through the same outlet where the chimney once was. I am thrilled to have no more chimney to worry about!
