 + -1 moreI hired Don's Plumbing to REPLACE the flange in the upstairs bathroom and they talked my wife into doing a subpar repair instead. The 'fix' Don's Plumbing recommended ended up leaking into my finished basement ceiling and walls over the course of a couple months. I ended up having to tear out my basement ceiling, walls and carpet. After exposing the repair from the bottom side, it was determined by two other independent plumbers that Don's Plumbing repair is what caused the leak since the 'repair' they performed should have never been done in the first place. I contacted Don's Plumbing and had the owner come out to my house and discussed the issue with him. He denied doing any wrong doing and refused to fix the damage. A month later I contacted Don's Plumbing and tried coming to a settlement with them over the damage and they agreed to talk with me about amounts but never paid anything. This is the most dishonest company I have ever done business with. They are con-men and can't be trusted. In the end I am out over $4000 after all the repairs are completed when the original repair should have cost about $200 if they would have done as I asked.
Description of Work: The toilet flange needed to be replaced in my upstairs bathroom.

 + -1 moreWater Heater: They picked up the new heater, took out the old, installed the new and everything was done when I got home from work. It was wonderful.Back Flow Valve: This is a big job. It was done because of the area I live and problems with flooding. They had to dig out dirt, install the valve and pour new concrete. Everything was cleaned up great when they were done. I also felt very confident they knew what they were doing.Faucets: He had to make two trips as I bought the wrong kind of faucet for the laundry tub, but he didn't complain. They all work great - no more dripping!Unclogged toilet: Was done in a very short time. It's a family business and they are VERY nice, know what they are doing and are very professional. They were recommended to me and I have recommended them to others. I wouldn't hesitate to call them if I needed more plumbing work done.
Description of Work: Don's Plumbing has replaced my water heater, installed a back flow valve, installed (2) new faucets and an outside water spout and unclogged a toilet. These items were done at different times over about a year.
