He did nothing but squirt caulk in the space between my driveway and the house. He charged me $400. When I called he said he would come back and fix it. He never did and when I asked for my money back, he called me a effing idiot and hung up. He's had my number blocked for years so I share my story about him every year at this time on Facebook and until he gives me my money back, I hope he loses much more. Never do business with Chuck. Chuck sucks.

No sand jacking was done. I heard all kinds of machine noise. His worker caulked the space between the house and driveway. He came to my door and said he caulked it for free. After he left, I checked to see how far he jacked the slab because I marked it. It wasn't jacked at all. I called Chuck. At first he agreed to come out to look but he never did. Then he decided that I only wanted the caulking done for $400. I told him no idiot would pay 400 for some caulking. He said my Wife and I were idiots then and hung up. He blocked my calls so I post every year my story on Facebook in hopes that nobody gets screwed by him. He's a fraud. He owes me $400 and an apology. Until then, I'll speak out against him on any media until he pays up.

Stay away from Chuck's Sandjacking. Chuck Asplin will give you an estimate and then not commit to it. This guy is arrogant, rude and has zero customer service skills. We had Chuck out to repair settling to a driveway slab leading to our house. The work was half complete. Contacted him to come out to fix the incomplete job while even offering to pay for the work, which should have been covered under warranty. He gave an estimate to fix it and said he would get to me. Now, approaching 3 months later, he tells me to find someone else. This guy will leave you hanging. Save yourself the trouble and go the Polyjack route utilizing Sprayfoam. Chuck's "patented" method will not last. Highly recommend you avoid Sandjacking with Chuck.

Response from CHUCK'S SANDJACKING
This customer was upset because I wouldn't drop everything to do his project. None of his claims are true. When I gave him an estimate, I told him we were backed up with work. I also suggested my competitors might be more willing to travel. He didn't want holes drilled in his concrete. He became more belligerent and I told him to forget the estimate. To get back at me, he posted three different posts and Angies finally removed the others. He also alludes to me not finishing the first work I did for him. That was done to standard and he said it was fine. Anyone who knows me, also knows I'm not arrogant. I'm am not a pushover for a bully like him.

Started on my house last fall. Did not finish. Said would come back in spring because they were too busy to finish work on my garage. Come this spring. did not hear from them until I contacted them after I received two bills. One was for the total amount, the second four days later was the full amount with 12% interest. They claimed they had tried contacting us and since we missed the calls we were ducking him. now job has not ben finished and I was offered a lesser amount to settle .paid $1300 for half the job and they are now attempting to place lien oh my house for full price. I forgot to mention that in their process of lifting my garage floor, the dust from the sand got into a crawl space and proceeded to cover the entire inside of my house in dust. I guess it was my responsibility to clean the mess.
Description of Work: Attempted to lift garage floor and walls.

They were able to get the slab almost back to perfect alignment. Due to their process there are no holes in my concrete and I could drive on it immediately. They always returned my calls quickly and provided me an estimate which they stuck to. I was also provided a 2 year warranty. My only complaint was they didn't give me a window of when they were going to perform the service. They just showed up one Saturday. I was home, so it wasn't a big deal.
Description of Work: My driveway had fallen off of the garage slab about 1.5 inches. I called Chuck's to re-align the slab.
