I called Gene plus one other tree service for estimates. The other (Fisch**) first wanted to know if I'd called anyone else. The first question he asked me was who else have I called because he wanted to know who his competition was. I did not indicate any name. He could not give a specific day on when he could provide an estimate, but said he'd be out within 5 days. He never did come. Gene at Belling Tree Service not only gave a specific day/time he would come out to look at the job, but he and his crew completed the job and the other company NEVER DID CALL OR COME OUT as they promised. Gene is the ONLY one to call - I'd still be waiting for the estimate from Fisch**. Gene came on time, gave an accurate estimate, described the work, and gave advice on the tree trimming. He gave a two-week window for when he'd be able to do the job. On the Friday of the 2nd week, he called, apologized for the delay, explained the other customer had him do extra work while there, and stated he would be out Monday. He and his crew of two others came on Monday and worked until the job was done, hauling away the branches and clearing debris as each tree fell. They did a SUPER neat job - there was not even ONE tiny branch left behind, hand raking up the debris completely. They also smoothed out the stump holes with the grindings. He and his crew came with a dump truck, a skid-steer loader plus a branch-picker attachement, and the stump grinder attachment (large), and completed the job swiftly. Gene will get our repeat business.
